All proceeds from the race will be used to support high school and college students, as well as students with cognitive impairments in the Greater Ann Arbor area to experience the adventure of a Young Life camp trip. 2024 Washtenaw County Heart Walk 5k Run/Walk Join us to defeat heart disease and stroke! Join the National Honor Society of Dexter High School as they host the 6th Annual Summer 5K! This student-led event is FREE to the public and aims to raise $10,000 for the Sprout Love Initiative of the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor. Participants can enjoy a 5K race (run, walk, roll, or stroll) and outdoor activities! We are expecting over 150 attendees for this event.Although the Race registration is $25, the event itself is FREE!*5K is a non-chipped fun run/walk. For $25, early registrants will receive entry into the race, a race t-shirt, and a commemorative medal. Race registration will be $30 starting May 17th. The 2026 Unified 5k and AdaptXpo is an inclusive road race and adaptive sports expo designed so that everyone can participate, whether they run, walk, row, or roll. The event raises critical funds for AdaptX education, research, community events, fitness programming, and grant initiatives. The Unified 5k is a space where athletes with and without disabilities show up together, challenge perceptions, and prove that fitness and sport are more meaningful when everyone has a place at the starting line. Join us on August 30th at Hudson Mills for our 2nd annual Unified 5k in Dexter, MI. Participants have the opportunity to run, walk, roll, or row either the 5k (3.1 mile) or 1 Mile course. Arrive early or hang around after the event to check out our vendors and clinics at the AdaptXpo, a celebration of organizations that focus on health, inclusion, accessibility, assistive technology, and adaptive sports.  Help us make fitness and physical activity accessible for every body.

Come celebrate the 1st Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k on Saturday, October 3rd in celebration Ostomy Awareness Day! This family friendly event will include lots of fun and laughter, local vendors, food, music and celebration so be sure to bring your entire family! We’ve got a cornucopia of race swag and WE want to have fun getting it to YOU. After all, we love zero-waste races — and the best part of Thanksgiving is the leftovers. Run a 5K and claim your race leftovers! Now is your chance to claim that awesome shirt or medal you always wanted. It could be from the Kroger A2 Turkey Trot. Or the Ann Arbor Marathon. Or the Island Lake Tri. Or any number of races we’ve held! (Yes, we’ll have all sizes available — just not in every shirt.) The fun part of the leftovers race is you don't necessarily know what you're going to get -- but like Thanksgiving leftovers, it will all be good!  Each participant will receive a 'leftover' shirt, bib and medal from our previous races!
