Our Mission  The Mission of Detroit Mountain Recreation Area, Inc. is to promote sound environmental recreation and educational programming to develop the health and wellness of children, families and communities.  Share the Joy of Skiing with the Ski Angel Scholarship Program At Detroit Mountain, we’re passionate about sharing the thrill of gliding on snow and the joy of outdoor recreation. The Ski Angel Program provides children and families facing financial hardship with access to skiing and other activities, partnering with local schools and non-profits to reach those in need. Our goal is to expand this program to include summer recreation, offering year-round opportunities for adventure. 100% of donations to the Ski Angel Program are used to ensure more kids and families can experience the magic of the outdoors.
