Race day registration will open at 8am and the race will kick off at 9am.  Entry Fee: $30 per person or $100 for a family of 4 Challenge coins will be provided to every participant. Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the race. All proceeds will be donated to Tunnel to Towers to raise money for the Tunnels to Towers organization that helps with injured/fallen first responders and vets. The Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer Association, Visit SoSi, The Danville Running and Fitness Club, and Danville Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the 17th Annual Bridge2Bridge 5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K Run, Kids Fun Run, and a Half Marathon. Virtual options are also available. Since our inception, Bridge2Bridge Danville has raised over $1,140,000 which benefits cancer patients within Danville and Pittsylvania County. In 2025, over 1000 individuals participated in this event which allowed Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer to help many local cancer patients with medications, wigs, travel expenses and more. Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer is a local 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides assistance to cancer patients by providing travel reimbursement, prescriptions, nutrition, medical supplies and equipment, prostheses, and wigs, as well as emotional, and educational support.

The Goodyear Education 5K returns for its 19th year — and this time, we’re taking off from an exciting new location: the Danville Regional Airport! Participants will kick off the race on the terminal ramp alongside the airplane hangars, enjoying a unique runway-side experience with stunning views of the airport and Averett University aircraft on display. From there, runners and walkers will head out to Stinson Drive before circling back to the airport for a high-energy finish right where they started. After crossing the finish line, stick around for awards, photo opportunities with the planes, and post-race refreshments. Heads Up! Registration will be capped at 150 participants. Register early to make sure you don't lose your spot at this unique event!

Join us for the 3rd Share Your Strength 5k on Saturday May 9.  Share Your Strength is an organization that recognizes the importance of ongoing physical rehabilitation services for people when medical insurance caps coverage for those services and will not cover the costs of them.  This race will support the continuing recovery of Jan Sheffield who was diagnosed as a tetraplegic in August 2022.  She has made amazing advances such as standing alone and using her hands and arms for simple tasks that so many of us take for granted. Her goal is to regain most of her function - even walking.  These advances can only occur because of her positive determination and countless hours of therapy.    All proceeds will fund Jan's ongoing therapy costs that are crucial for her continued improvement and recovery.   The cost is $30 through May 9 with race day registration cost of $35 and included a custom race t-shirt.  The cost of a virtual 5k is $35 and includes a custom race t-shirt.  Check in

The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County is excited to host the Summer Fun Run & Walk Series. Get ready to conquer the peaks with the Tri Peak Series brought to you by River Valley Runners! Dive into a thrilling trio of races set in breathtaking landscapes, starting with the Mt. Magazine 15k on May 30, 2026 that promises to challenge and inspire. It's only ONE hill!! We start about a half mile from the school on dirt road and then it turns into paved road the rest of the way up to the top of Mt. Magazine. Once at the top, there will be a shuttle to get you to the bottom of the mountain - Or you can go a little extra an run down! What goes up must come down, right?  Early start for Mount Magazine is 6:30am!  Keep the adrenaline pumping with an all paved course 1.5 miles up Danville mtn and 1.5 down! We hope that you will join us at Boyle County High School on Thanksgiving morning, November 26th, 2026 at 8:00am for the LARGEST RACE IN DANVILLE KY, the 5th Annual Titletown Turkey Trot in memory of Deangelo Durham. This will be a competitive event but also family friendly event and runners, walkers, kids, strollers and pets are all welcome and encouraged to join us!
