Tour de Forsyth takes place in 18 Parks with trails (including the Big Creek Greenway) throughout Forsyth County, GA. You participate from January 1st - April 25th, walking/hiking/exploring at your own pace and convenience. These trails add up to over 59+ miles of outdoor adventure with each park having unique views and amenities. For more detailed information select PARK INFO and/or the FAQs tabs. Tie your shoestrings and stretch out your hamstrings because it’s time for Browns Bridge’s 2nd Annual 5K race. Join hundreds of others from our community as we loop the building on this fun, yet challenging 5K course. The best part is this is not your normal 5K—this is a 5K you run your way! Whether you’re hoping to break a personal record or to simply cross the finish line, this is a race for you. And all morning long we will have fun on the lawn with a DJ, inflatables, and more, so spectators and racers alike will have a blast. Want to stroll a kid through the race? Great. Want to dress up in costume or run backward? Perfect. Would you rather sit and watch everyone else? That’s great too. There is something for everyone at the Your Way 5K. Join us for the 2nd Annual Run for a Pawpose 5K, Kids Fun Run (ages 10 & Under), and Doggie Run, which will take place on the evening of Saturday, April 18th. The Run for a Pawpose 5K benefits the Pups With Purpose program through the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. This special event helps support a program that gives shelter dogs a second chance, while providing inmates with valuable life, social, and vocational skills.  This event is open to walkers and runners of all ages, as well as dogs. All dogs in attendance must register in advance and proof of the dog's rabies vaccination must be submitted online. Registered dogs will receive a custom race doggie bandana. Human 5K and Fun Run race participants will receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. The 2026 Boulder Dash 5K Race is a unique race in Forsyth County, Georgia. The course winds through an active quarry, offering participants views of the working quarry face, ancient rock deposits, and massive equipment used to process, move and manage the rock. Since this is an active quarry, there will be no dogs allowed in the race this year. At the finish line, the Martin Marietta Spring Fling awaits, with Exhibitor/Team Tents and lots of fun for racers and spectators alike. Sponsor generosity combines with race registration fees to make this event a great fundraiser in the Forsyth community.   Help us spread the news about the 2026 Boulder Dash — please share! The Walk for Recovery is in remembrance of the 112,000 lives lost to overdose and addiction in 2023 as well as to educate and promote healthier drug-free lifestyles. The event will include food, musical guests, games, and resource tables. Professionals and families fighting the stigma and disease of addiction will be holding discussion panels and we will have Memorial Tea Cup lighting ceremony in honor of those lost lives. Guest speakers include Mayor Troy Brumbalow and others. The Forsyth County Drug Awareness Council’s mission is to educate, advocate, and empower the community to prevent substance abuse across the lifespan in Forsyth County, Georgia. Our vision is to have a healthy substance abuse-free Forsyth County.

Join us on Thanksgiving Day.  Come out and burn some pre-turkey calories while working up an appetite for your Thanksgiving Day feast by running or walking the 16th annual Tryptophan Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K. WOW, 16 years is an amazing tradition!  We are THANKFUL to all of YOU for coming out year after year.  It is great to see family and friends come together from all over to create special memories on race day!  So be THAT FAMILY on turkey day and run a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon run/walk.
