WE ARE BACK, AGAIN!!! 3.2 miles - 1,ooo feet of elevation - innovative obstacles - unique finisher medal - shirt - multilaps - ultra option An EPIC time for ALL!!! Ultras start at 7am...have until 7pm to start their final lap...you may run your first lap in the elite or AMOC wave, and just continue after with laps! Elites start at 7:10am...you will get a wristband at registration AMOC start at 7:15am, and we will send in smaller waves if need be, you will get a wristband at registration and instructions at start line. ANY elite, AMOC person wanting ti run multilaps, just keep going after your competitive wave!

The 2026 Unified 5k and AdaptXpo is an inclusive road race and adaptive sports expo designed so that everyone can participate, whether they run, walk, row, or roll. The event raises critical funds for AdaptX education, research, community events, fitness programming, and grant initiatives. The Unified 5k is a space where athletes with and without disabilities show up together, challenge perceptions, and prove that fitness and sport are more meaningful when everyone has a place at the starting line. Join us on June 6th at Cumberland High School for our 2nd Annual Unified 5k in Cumberland, RI. Participants have the opportunity to run, walk, roll, or row either the 5k (3.1 mile) or 2k course. Arrive early or hang around after the event to check out our vendors and clinics at the AdaptXpo, a celebration of organizations that focus on health, inclusion, accessibility, assistive technology, and adaptive sports.  Help us make fitness and physical activity accessible for every body.

Arnold Mills Road Race

For more than 50 years, the Arnold Mills 4M Road Race has been a staple event in Cumberland, RI. Held every Fourth of July holiday, the popular four-mile race draws an average of 500 participants each and every year to the starting line, including some top talent from throughout the state and often from beyond the borders. The race, which is run on a moderately-challenging course in a rural community, takes part in conjunction with the town's annual parade. In years past, U.S. Olympians Matt Centrowitz Sr. and Pete Pfitzinger, triathlon legend Karen Smyers, and RI marathon icon Bobby Doyle have made their marks at Arnold Mills. Become part of the tradition! Howard's Half Marathon/5K Run Festival

Cumberland, MD
Howard's Run Festival is a charity race to benefit the Allegany County Animal Shelter. Starting in 2015, the event has raised over $40,000 for Maryland's first municipal no-kill shelter. The event is managed by Sharon Everett and Ray Hunt. The festival consists of two events held the 1st Sunday in September, an out and back half marathon starting and finishing at the Canal Place stage. The second event, an out and back 5K event, also starts and finishing at the Canal Place stage area and starts shortly after the half marathon.

Narrow Way

The Allegany County FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) has hosted the Narrow Way race annually since 2019 to generate scholarship funding to send more students to local and regional FCA camps.  Students that attend these camps often have life changing experiences. The race include 10K, 5K, and 1K fun run/ walk options. We are looking for competitive runners as well as casual runners/walkers for our 1K. All ages are welcome and encouraged!   NEW in 2025: Teams! Create and/or join a team for your school, workplace, or church. Team photos will be taken for the Allegany Website. A full year of bragging rights await! A minimum of 3 team members are required to finish the race to obtain a team result, which will be based on the top 3 runners of each team.  The race's name (Narrow Way) has dual meaning.  The race course follows the GAP (Great Allegheny Passage) Trail through a steep sided valley west of Cumberland called 'The Narrows'.  Narrow Way also references the path to e
