This scenic, 13.1 mile 'Tour de Corvallis' is mostly flat with two slow gradual climbs, and two gradual descents.The entire course is on paved roads, sidewalk and bike paths.The 5k is one of the flattest around. You can expect a PR on this course!

The Beaver Freezer Sprint Triathlon is a community event that attracts racers from throughout the Willamette Valley and all over the Northwest. Started in 1993, the Freezer has been the OSU Triathlon Club's annual fundraising event for the past 25+ years. In 2010, the Beaver Freezer became the LARGEST TRIATHLON (with an indoor swim) in the UNITED STATES! Participants' experience varies from first-time triathletes to veterans; age groups range from 16-19 to 60-plus; and there are individual and relay categories available. Participants use a wide variety of equipment and encourage you to "run what ya brung!" We invite you to join the wonderful world of multisport! Come race in this early season sprint triathlon! All abilities are welcome! Must be at least 16 years of age to participate. Currently, e-bikes are not allowed in competition.

WELCOME BACK for the 46th installment of this landmark running event for the mid-valley, an old-school 5K & 10K. We are happy to return to OSUs campus this year, the run will take place from the McNary field between 11th and 14th streets. Come for the run, stay for Fall Festival! The run is presented by Heart of the Valley Runners. Proceeds from the event go back to the community in accordance with the mission of Heart of the Valley Runners -- to encourage and support local running at all levels. This affordable, family-friendly event presents a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all who want to participate. HOTV Runners members receive a $5 discount on registration for the 5k and 10k through Saturday September 27, 2025.
