Flying Pig Pump and Run

Cincinnati, OH
Strength Meets Speed for a Cause! Urban Outreach NKY/Cincinnati is back with the PUMP N’ RUN—the ultimate test of power and pace. We’re not just hitting the pavement; we’re raising the funds needed to install a commercial AC system at our Covington gym, where those who are under-resourced, can still work out. How does it work? The Pump N’ Run combines weightlifting and running skills within one unique event.  A person bench presses a percentage of their body weight based upon an age and gender handicap, and each bench repetition reduces their run time.  A lighter lift formula is used for the longer Half and Full Marathon Runs.   In addition to awards given in each age group for the “Fastest Net Run Time”, there are also Pump Club medals which can be earned.  10 to 19 reps earns a “Bronze” 10-Pump Club Medal20 to 29 reps earns a “Silver” 20-Pump Club Medal30+ reps earns the ultimate “Gold” 30-Pump Club Medal. | Race Distance | Time Off Per Rep | Max Reps | Max Time Deduction || 5K |

Cincinnati, OH
Cincinnati is proud to be one of the select few cities to host the 2026 National Opal’s Walk for Freedom, a Juneteenth observance honoring the end of slavery in the United States and the ongoing pursuit of inclusive freedom. Opal’s Walk for Freedom, organized by the Texas-based non-profit Unity Unlimited, Inc., is led by Dr. Opal Lee, widely known as the “Grandmother of Juneteenth.” On June 19, participants in host cities across the country will walk 2.5 miles simultaneously, symbolizing the approximately 2.5 years between the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 and the day enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, learned they were free in 1865. The walk is supported by national and local partners, including Start 2 Finish Event Management, Detroit Choice Events, JARK 1 Entertainment, and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Dirt Days Trail Series - French Park Creek Crossings

Cincinnati, OH
Dirt Days Trail Series - French Park Creek Crossings Sunday, June 21, 2026 9:00 am French Park, Cincinnati, OH   French Park originally started out in its entirety as a farm, is now one of the city's most picturesque parks. The 3.6 mile course will take runners through almost everything that the park has to offer. Starting at the top of the hill, runners will descend down into the meadow, through the tall grass, and then run the perimeter before heading into the interior of the park. The course will follow the creek and cross it several times, giving runners the option to either tiptoe over stepping stones, use log bridges, or dash directly through it. The course will then gradually rise back to the shelter and meadow where it began. The event coincides with Father's Day for 2026.  This is the Fourth leg of the Dirt Days Trail Series.   Location: 3012 Section Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45237 Link to French Park Web Page Coordinates: 39.197563, -84.419985 The Course: The 3.6 mile course
