The deadline to receive a T-Shirt for this 5K is 11:59pm CST on 8/1/2026. This race is the 9th annual 5K walk, race, bike event sponsored by the Prince Hall Masons in the State of Illinois to bring awareness to and support for Prostate cancer, screenings, early detection, treatment options, and on-going research.  The race is held at 4 locations simultaneously, Chicago IL, Aurora IL, East. St. Louis IL, and the Springfield/Champaign/Urbana (area) IL.  The race is open to anyone interested in participating in the conversation of Prostate Cancer Awareness or who want to support those affected by Prostate Cancer.  Race/Walk/Bike participants must be 12 yrs and older.  A waiver must be signed. All proceeds raised are donated towards Prostate Cancer awareness and research and assist with free screenings.

Climbing Details  How long is the T2T Tower Climb at 150 N. Riverside Drive?  You will be starting at the park next to the building at ground level and climbing up to the 50th floor How many steps are there per flight?  The number of steps varies per flight.  Can I climb more than one time up?  Yes, after your first climb, please take the elevator down to the first level. Once every wave has been sent off, there may be an opportunity to have a second, untimed climb.   Will there be medical assistance if necessary? There will be medics on the premises in the event of an emergency. They will be staged at the base of the building next to the elevators so they can respond quickly to an emergency on any floor.   What direction does the stairwell wind?   The stairwell winds to the right.   Is there a limit on how many people can register? As of now, the operational capacity of this event is 500 participants.   Is this a timed climb? Yes. Timing chips will be attached to the back of your bib

The Miles for Manufacturing (M4M) 5K Run/Walk is a beloved tradition at IMTS, uniting the manufacturing community around two shared passions: staying active and giving back. The Chicago River Swim is the signature event of A Long Swim, a 501(c)3 charitable organization that raises funds for ALS collaborative research through Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and local youth learn-to-swim programs. The event is made possible through the support of dozens of local and federal agencies, area businesses, and the entire Chicago community.

The Lawndale 5K is hosted every year by Lawndale Christian Fitness Center (LCFC). This event brings the community together to run, walk, and play, and it invites people near and far to join in! The proceeds of the Lawndale 5K are used to support our FitnessRx program, which provides free memberships for LCHC patients with a chronic illness. Check out fall’s most ‘spirited’ event! It’s the 13th annual 5K on the grounds of the north side’s historic Rosehill Cemetery. Run or walk on the sprawling 350-acre Victorian-era cemetery that opened in 1864. It’s by far the largest cemetery in the City of Chicago (and second largest in Illinois). Monuments! Mausoleums! Scenic paths! And then there’s the eternal spirits who reside in Rosehill. Among them: more than 10 Chicago mayors, Oscar Mayer, John G. Shedd, Cubs’ announcer Jack Brickhouse, legendary adman Leo Burnett, Sears founder Julius Rosenwald and scores of Civil War vets are just a few of the souls who call Rosehill home. In addition, there will also be a post run/walk party at the close-by Fireside Restaurant & Tavern.

The 18th Annual F^3 Lake Half Marathon & 5k is Chicago's Original Winter Half Marathon. Each year, thousands of runners flock to this community-built event, gathering in the warmth of Soldier Field's United Club before tackling wind & weather along a lakefront course that features splits every 5km. A must for anyone preparing for a spring marathon or just resolving to stay fit throughout the new year. F^3 sold out in 2016-2020 and 2023-present. Every registrant will once again receive one of our great hoodies and a medal! We will return to the warm confines of Soldier Field's United Club! The UC opens at 8 a.m. Gear check is available. The half marathon starts at 10:01 a.m. and consists of self-seeded waves in quick succession. The 5k is scheduled for 10:29 a.m. Courses close at 1:30 p.m. After the race, head to Weathermark Tavern for the afterparty! 1503 S.
