RW Towne On The Move is a 4-week virtual movement challenge open to all fitness levels, encouraging participants to get active in any way they choose- from walking the dog to attending a yoga class, lifting weights, or shooting some hoops with friends! Participants must either select a primary activity or choose the mixed activity option for the 30-day challenge. You must log and submit your results to be entered into the raffle. Weekly prizes and social sharing will keep the energy high. All proceeds benefit Sunshine Kids, a Nonprofit Foundation for Children with Cancer, supported by the RW Towne Foundation.

Welcome to the Striders Spring Festival Dismal swamp 5 Miler and 1 miler                                   COURSE: This is a 2.5-mile out and 2.5-mile back course on the closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake. One Miler is .5 miles out and back. 1 mile is an up-and-back on the Trail PACKET PICKUP:  Early Packet Pick will be at Point 2 Running Company, Chesapeake, on Friday, April 24th, from 3-6 pm! SPARC presents, our 4th annual Above the Clouds 5K in honor of Dr. Albert K. Lin.   Please join us for our annual run/walk as we raise awareness to brain cancer, and to remember and honor Dr. Albert K. Lin.  Dr. Lin continues to inspire us to live our lives to the fullest, and to finish the race, in a manner most worthy of a prize that lasts for eternity. A portion of your registration fee will be donated to www.braintumor.org, who unrelentingly invests in, mobilizes, and unites the brain tumor community to discover a cure, deliver effective treatments, and advocate for patients and caregivers.  The 5K will be a timed event with prizes for our top finishers.  All registrants will receive a race shirt and finisher medal. The Tidewater Striders Duathlon  Welcome to the 7th Annual Tidewater Striders Duathlon! RACES: Sprint Duathlon - (2 Mile Run- 12.4 Mile Bike - 2 Mile Run) Novice Sprint Duathlon (Multi-sport Beginners who have competed in less than 4 multi-sport events). The same distance as the Sprint, this race will be run at the same time as the Sprint. Novice Participants will not qualify for Age Group awards.
