North American Canicross presents RACE AROUND RED TOP! Come join us March 8th for our forth in-person canicross 5k race! New to canicross or have a pup in training? There will also be a 5k Dog Friendly Trail race following the competitive canicross run. All dogs running in canicross are required to wear designated canicross gear. Harnesses that have “Y” chest bands and do not restrict the dogs movement, bungee lead 4' - 6’ ft attached to a hands free waist belt must be worn for those running in the canicross class. Join us for the Run for Compassion 5K at Dellinger Park. This fun 5K supports the Compassion Center of Crosspoint City Church and is perfect for runners, walkers, and families alike. Course Information: The Race will start and end on the concrete track around the football field. The course winds through multiple of the park's trails and loops around the lake. For any XC runners, it is a very similar course to the Wire2Wire XC Invitational. Parking: There will be plenty of parking at Dellinger Park with a brief walk to packet pickup and the start/finish line. Packet Pickup: Packets will be available for pickup from 6:30 - 7:45am on race morning. There will be water and snacks on the track past the finish line. We are excited to be back for our 12th race! Our 5K runs are mission and family focused.  We can't wait to see familiar faces, along with many new faces on April 4, 2026. We are back with the start line in the Village of Cartersville. Proceeds from this year's race will benefit missions of Cartersville Baptist Church--our youth group and missionaries. This year not only will we have our traditional 5K race through our beautiful quaint village of Cartersville, but we will feature a kids fun run!! The Kids Run is for 10 years old and younger. Participants in this age group can register to do both the kids mile run and 5K, but must register for both to place in either race.

Anniversary of the events and tragedy of 9/11.  Held Saturday morning, September 12th, 2026 in Downtown Cartersville, GA the “9/11 Run to Remember” 5K represents a celebration of the herculean efforts of all of the first responders from that unforgettable day 24 years ago.
