Team Stacy – Nobody Fights Alone F3 Northern Kentucky 5K

Burlington, KY
Run for Stacy: A Community 5K We’ve known Stacy as a helper, a good neighbor, a loyal friend — and our favorite “cake therapist.” She’s the kind of person who quietly shows up for others without ever asking for anything in return. In June 2025, Stacy was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Since then, her world has shifted overnight. She is no longer able to work, and her focus is now fully on treatment, rest, and spending meaningful time with the people she cares about most. This 5K is our opportunity to return her kindness. Why We’re Running The purpose of this fundraiser is simple: to surround Stacy with tangible support and relieve the financial pressure that comes with serious illness. Proceeds from the race will help cover medical insurance costs and ongoing living expenses, allowing her savings to stretch further during treatment. Every step taken on race day represents encouragement.Every registration, donation, and sponsorship represents love in ac

Adopt Don't Stop 5K!

Burlington, NC
Our family’s story is rooted in faith, obedience, and the beautiful gift of adoption. Recently, God forever changed our lives when we welcomed our daughter into our family through adoption. She is a daily reminder that family is not defined by biology, but by love and God’s perfect design. Becoming her parents has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives and has deepened our desire to care for children who need loving, permanent homes. Throughout our first adoption journey, our community and church family were an essential part of what God was doing. We were carried by prayers, encouragement, generosity, and unwavering support. In moments of uncertainty, we were encouraged by the family of God and reminded of God’s goodness and how he has cared for us. We truly could not have walked this road alone, and we are deeply grateful for a community that reflected Christ’s love so faithfully. Through continued prayer and discernment—we now feel God calling us to pursue adoption once aga

Berry Dairy Days 5K and 10K Race

Burlington, WA
Enjoy this historic festival with a 5K or 10K race on Saturday, June 20. Although it started as the “Strawberry Festival”, Berry Dairy Days has been a consistent part of the community for the past 88 years! Berry Dairy Days continues to celebrate Burlington’s history, agriculture, farming, traditions and community. In 1937, the first annual “Berry Dairy Days” was launched when the Burlington volunteer firefighters organized a fundraiser to purchase new equipment. The community event served as a fundraiser and a way to celebrate strawberry farming in Burlington. To add excitement and draw a crowd, they made a giant strawberry shortcake that was pulled down Fairhaven Avenue in red wagons. Pieces of the cake were handed to the crowd that had gathered to catch a glimpse of the shortcake. As the festival grew not only in size but in scope, in 1965 the event was handed over to the Burlington Chamber of Commerce to continue the tradition.
