2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the Buffalo Marathon Weekend. Buffalo Graniteman Triathlon is a central Minnesota favorite. Held in early June, it offers both sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. Beginning with a swim in Buffalo Lake, the course passes through downtown and follows winding country roads. Working in cooperation with local businesses and giving back to the community, the event welcomes participants from all over to visit and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Miles for Migraine will host its 7th annual 2-mile Walk, 5K Run and Relax Buffalo Event at Delaware Park. This event is a fundraiser for Migraine & Headache Awareness, Treatment & Research. It's more than a walk/run - come connect with your local migraine & headache community, listen to our speakers & visit sponsors in the festival area.  All walk and run finishers receive a finisher medal. 5K run is professionally timed. Dress up in your best purple flair for a chance at a fun prize! What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. It honors all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and supports our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!
