Let's bloom into spring, one step at a time!  8 week free program designed to help runners and walkers prepare for the Dogwood Dash 5K on April 18th.  The program starts on February 24th and meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:15 pm, King University Student Center.  All are welcome, from beginners who are just getting started, to runners who are looking for some motivation, or those who just want some friends to run with.  The program will provide group leaders to help you along the way.  Dogs & strollers are welcome.

Dogwood Dash 5K & Mini Dash

Bristol, TN
8:00 am.  Come celebrate the 100th Dogwood Homecoming weekend at King University with a 5K that starts and finishes on the beautiful King campus and runs through the historic Fairmount residential area. The day will start out with the 5K, Mini Dash for kids, with other homecoming festivities throughout the day.  The race will be electronically timed by We Run Events.

Imagine 5K & Kid's Dash

8:15 5K Run/Walk, 9:15 am Kid's Half Mile Fun Run. Race to raise money for scholarships for Imagine Summer Camp for kids with special needs. Start/Finish at Shelter G, out and back on Lakeside Trail. Should be pretty fast! Register by May 7 to guarantee shirt size.

Speedway in Lights 5K

The Speedway in Lights 5K returns for its 16th year on Sunday, Nov. 15, when more than 1,000 festive participants will be the first to tour the region's largest and most dazzling holiday lights display when the endurance race begins at 6 p.m. The run/walk event will wind through the new Speedway In Lights course that has been updated for 2026 with 40 new displays. The 5K will begin near the track’s Entrance No. 2 beside the BMS South Building and make a loop running up and back down the historic quarter-mile Bristol Dragway before returning to the legendary high-banked oval where they will enter the stadium at the track’s pit gate and make a left hand turn down the track’s backstretch in a counterclockwise direction before finally crossing the finish line which will be positioned just before Turn 2.
