Centennial School 35th Annual 5K Run / 2 Mile Walk Proceeds aid in providing our students with valuable educational and recreational experiences.  Location:     Centennial School of Lehigh University 5K is held on the scenic cross-country trails of Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus in Bethlehem, PA. The starting line is located in front of Goodman Stadium again this year. Dogs on leashes are welcome! Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  High School: We also welcome our High School runners! Our high school students will be running a 2 mile race.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. All proceeds go towards Morning Star's educational and leadership programs for local students.  Be a part of this first class event featuring chip timing. THE 12TH ANNUAL SPARTAN SPRINT 5K RUN/WALK & FAMILY DAY! The course starts and finishes on NCC’s Bethlehem campus. Point to point course is mostly flat and fast, on paved roads between Northampton Community College and through a local neighborhood. Post-race raffle, refreshments & family day activities (see below.) Strollers and pets are welcome behind the runners. Pets must be leashed. This race is not related to Spartan-style obstacle races. This event is also a walk. Walkers will begin behind the runners and will not be timed. Awards Awards for overall male and overall female; awards to top male and female finisher in each age bracket: (No duplication of awards) 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Please note: this race is not related to Spartan style obstacle course races We are once again teaming up with NCC's Student Life as they host FAMILY DAY from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Come for the 5K and stay for FAMILY DAY! Join us for our annual 5K Ruck ‘n Walk/Run to honor veterans during Veterans Appreciation Week. Join Lehigh Valley colleges, universities, businesses and community members as we Ruck OR Run/Walk to recognize and honor all veterans throughout the Lehigh Valley. Offering an in-person race with 5K Ruck and Walk/Run options in addition to a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk option*. The course is an off road grass course through the scenic Bicentennial park. Can my dog run with me? As much as we love dogs they are not allowed to run our races. Please keep your pup at home. Participants who register and make a $30 minimum donation, by November 7, will have the option of an event giveaway at the event. What is not to like about this 5K-ish….dress like Santa and beer….almost forgot about the running.  All Santas start at a bar in the north side in Bethlehem (FLYING PIG), to warm up, have some drinks and enjoy company.  At noon – Santas take off for a run around Bethlehem area bars where the first 24 to get to each location receive a free beer.   To everyone else – drink specials!  At 3 PM, all Santas will come back together at Molly’s Irish Grille and Sports Pub for live music and tons of fun. Check-in from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM @  Flying Pig Run begins at 12 Noon – there will be an official “GO” *****There is no course – you can visit bars in any order you choose…strategy is key*****   There are more ways to get free beer than being first — anyone who brings a toy to donate for Toys for Tots will receive a ticket for a free beer at the starting location.   $5 from each registration will also be donated to Toys for Tots.   Space is limited – register today!

What is not to like about this 5K-ish….dress like Santa and beer….almost forgot about the running. All Santas start at a bar in the north side in Bethlehem (FLYING PIG), to warm up, have some drinks and enjoy company. At noon – Santas take off for a run around Bethlehem area bars where the first 24 to get to each location receive a free beer. To everyone else – drink specials! At 3 PM, all Santas will come back together at Molly’s Irish Grille and Sports Pub for live music and tons of fun. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM and the race starts at 10:00 AM.The event is fully accessible and pet-friendly, but all pets must remain leashed at all times.This is a certified 5K with professional timing. Course Details:The race kicks off and finishes at Northampton Community College’s Bethlehem Campus, following a scenic, mostly flat, and fast point-to-point route through local neighborhoods on paved roads.
