Want to help raise funds and awareness for the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA)?  If you are thinking of asking for charitable donations instead of birthday gifts, or planning to host a bake sale or community event - here is where to get started!  Fundraisers are an important vehicle in advancing SFA's mission. We are honored to be contacted by so many passionate members of the community wanting to organize an event to increase sarcoma awareness and funding for research.   Just follow these three simple steps:  1) Develop an idea for an event (bowl-a-thon, golf tournament, etc.) 2) Create your event page 3) Share your event page link with friends and family through social media   We challenge you to get involved!  Your efforts, both large and small, will assist SFA with funding important research to help find a cure in our time.  116030464 100000

The 11th Annual ChadTough Defeat DIPG Superhero Sprint & 6K, presented by Headfirst, is a fun and meaningful way to contribute to the fight against childhood brain tumors. This year's event is entirely virtual to allow all of our supporters the flexibility to participate whether you are near or far. Our virtual participants may sign up to walk, run, or do the activity of your choice, on your own, anytime in May 2026.  Some families may gather supporters together to walk or run in their community. Please seek information from your team captain or check the section below for a list of local gatherings as they become available.

Please join us for an enchanting afternoon of beautiful music by the gifted musicians of the Tempo Giusto Ensemble and tenor soloist, Matthew Hill in a concert to benefit Bethesda Help.  We are grateful for the support of all these talented musicians!   When: Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 3 PM Where: Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church in Bethesda             6601 Bradley Boulevard, Bethesda, MD 20817.  Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. Please donate at whatever level you can afford to support your neighbors in need. Welcome to the registration page for the Wood Acres JogFest! JogFest is a rain or shine event!  Please come out to support Wood Acres Elementary with your friends and neighbors. Participants can choose the 5K Race, One Mile Race or 1/4 Mile Fun Run.  Please check out the map for the official 5K course, which starts and finishes at the Wood Acres Local Park (5850 Wynnwood Road) and goes through the Wood Acres neighborhood of Bethesda, MD, through rolling hills on quiet neighborhood streets. The 5K starts promptly at 8:00 AM; the One Mile starts at 8:05 AM and the 1/4 Mile Fun Run starts at 8:30 AM.  Awards to follow at the park around 9:15 AM.

The Bethesda Elementary Fun Run is an approximately one mile run through the neighborhood surrounding the school. The event includes pre- and post-race festivities including music/DJ, a food and coffee truck, and other refreshments. This year's race t-shirt features an original art created by BE students. The race begins and ends at the school. Registration and a final sponsor list for 2026 are coming soon!

Welcome to the NON-MEMBER registration page for the MCRRC Run Aware XC! This page may also be used to sign up to volunteer - please see the "volunteer" tab to the left. This race is part of our free, low-key series for members.  Please refer to the "Low-Key Race Entry Procedure" on our website for more information.
