Welcome to the Bend Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k and 5k. With local ownership the 2026 events will be the best mountain town races anywhere. These are spectacularly scenic courses through West Bend emphasizing everything that makes Bend, Oregon great. You'll cruise around neighborhood parks, through ponderosa pine forests, along the mighty Deschutes River, and finish in a beautiful iconic Bend location to a hoppin' afterparty where the music is playing, delicious food is waiting, and you can relax because you just finished your best race ever! Join us for the 38th annual Salmon Run which returns to Bend, Oregon on April 18, 2026. Distances include the HALF MARATHON (13.1 miles), 10K, and 5K races. All courses weave along the beautiful Deschutes River on trails and some pavement. Taking place in the spring, the Salmon Run is one of the first running events of the season and the essential tip-off to the local racing scene in Central Oregon. Traversing beautiful dirt and paved trails amongst junipers and pines, the race course winds through some of the most scenic natural areas in Bend and finishes on the lawn Riverbend Park. Make a weekend of it! Bring the kids for the Little Fry Run too! Calling all Happy Girls!! The 16th Annual Happy Girls Run series returns to Central Oregon with its first race of the season in Bend, Oregon. Participants of all abilities can choose from the all-women’s Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K races.   You will be graced with gorgeous scenic views on a mix of trails, groomed paths, and paved surfaces. Cross the finish line and enjoy the post-race party with a fabulous gift bag and a unique Happy Girls medal. Adult beverages and food are provided. Kick off the Alpenglow Nights concert series with a burst of energy, laughter, and glowing fun at the Kids Glow Run! Join us on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM for a glowing good time before the music starts. The 7th Annual Heroes on the RunPresented by Subaru of Bend Run in the morning. Celebrate all day. For the first time ever, Heroes on the Run is part of Heroes & Hounds, a full-day celebration in Bend’s Old Mill District in partnership with the Hungry Hound Doggolympics. After the race, enjoy a live frisbee show by JD Platt & The K9 Kings. Then, cheer on the Hungry Hound Doggolympics on the lawn at Greg’s Grill. The Doggolympics feature an obstacle agility course, high jump, a 50-yard sprint, and a best trick competition. Dogs can compete or just come hang out. All friendly dogs are welcome. Adoptable dogs will be on-site all day, along with food and beverage options. We will also have local vendors, and our Kids Zone with a bouncy house, face painting, and more. Every registration fuels rescue missions, lifesaving medical care, and spay/neuter clinics around the world and right here at home. July 18th, 2026 This is the third event in the 2026 Capt'n Karl's Night Trail Run Series!  Join us as we run the rugged and demanding trails of Colorado Bend State Park. This locale is more reminiscent of the western United States than central Texas. Boasting cliffs and canyon lands, limestone caves, numerous natural springs, amazing waterfalls, and precious solitude, this park truly has it all & has quickly become a favorite among our runners and families. Prepare yourselves for a wonderful treat! While every racer will get some cool swag, June 25 is the deadline to get a shirt.

Mountain Trail Running Has Never Been Better One of Oregon’s favorite trail full marathon and half marathon races returns for the 22nd year on Saturday, August 8th, 2026.  No pavement here. Featuring a full all-trail marathon, a half marathon, and a 6.5-mile course (dubbed the “Half As”), the Haulin’ Aspen features beautiful trails that wind through the Deschutes National Forest, showcasing some epic views. With varying terrain and elevation, the cool wooded pine setting provides a challenging and exciting experience. Enjoy the beautiful single track, steep trails, fast descents, and amazing views starting at an elevation of nearly 5500'. Make it a destination this summer – Bend and the Cascades welcome you!

Welcome to the 34th Annual Oxford Classic! This meet has become one of Central Oregon’s longest-running and most competitive cross country traditions. Each year it brings together teams from across the region for a high-level mid-season competition. For the first time, we are excited to add a Community 5k — open to everyone who wants to be part of the action! The Oxford Classic will be held at Drake Park in Bend, Oregon. The course follows a loop through the park along the scenic Deschutes River, featuring a mix of grass and paved pathways. It is flat and fast, with wide stretches designed to accommodate pack racing and plenty of areas for spectators to cheer.

Brought to you by Run Bend and CORK, the Fall Foot Races combine fresh new events, the Fall Foot Half and Fleet Foot 5k, with two of the oldest and most beloved races in Oregon, the Bigfoot 10k and the Littlefoot kids run. Together, these races provide a distance option for all runners/walkers, and the perfect beginning of a fall day in Central Oregon. Join us in October to celebrate fall in Central Oregon with a brand new race weekend experience!

For more than 25 years, the annual USARA Adventure Race National Championships have seen some of the best teams from across the nation come together to compete in a non-stop, 30-hour adventure race. Many of these teams have to push the boundaries of human endurance and teamwork just to finish. Winning requires extreme willpower, mastery across disciplines, and sometime a little luck.  When the race ends, teams come together for an evening meal. We announce the national champions, crown the winners of the national points series, and celebrate the amazing adventure racing community.  The 2026 race is limited to teams of four in three divisions:  mixed gender, all-women, all-men.  There is not a separate masters division, though the top masters teams from across all divisions will be recognized. Race check-in will be Thursday, October 22, 2026. The 30-hour race will start Friday morning, October 23, 2026, and end Saturday afternoon, October 24, 2026. Priority registration opens January 1,
