Join us to run one of Bath's most popular trails in the third annual Thorne Head 4k Trail Run! The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust is hosting one of the most fun, cheerful, community-led trail runs this fall season. We keep it small so that everyone can have a good time, and so you can really load up on our incredible finisher's fall breakfast: think apple cider donuts, hot coffee, cider, bacon, and more. We're not joking around about the breakfast. Whether it's your first time running trails or you love to get out on midcoast Maine trails every week, there is a space for you at Thorne Head Trail Run! Your sign up fee goes directly to supporting our local trail system and environmental education with the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust. With your support, we can keep conserving land and making amazing trails that inspire our community to take care of this special corner of Maine. Thorne Head trail run will have it all: fun single track, nice wide trails, water views, and good company. We won't have winners but everyone will get a one-of-a-kind finishers mug. See you there! WE ARE EXCITED to announce our annual 2026 Bath Area Food Bank Turkey Trot! We have medals for the first 5 males, and the first 5 females! BRING SPECTATORS as well...to help us cheer on the finishers! This has turned into a very well attended event. We allow dogs on leashes, strollers, wagons..YOU NAME IT...and if you come in costume OR matching T shirts...ALL THE BETTER! We will begin Running, Trotting, Walking or Crawling at 8am. Registration is $50.00 (plus a 2.50 processing fee). If you prefer to register in person it will be 60.00 (and no processing fee) at the check in. ALL the funds donated will go directly to food insecure families in Bath, W. Bath, Woolwich, Phippsburg, Arrowsic, and Georgetown. This year we are trying to rent bathrooms, to help with the line..WE WILL NO BE STARTING ANY LATER THAN 8AM. THIS IS A RAIN SNOW OR SHINE event. We will have bottled water on hand...and we will be making A LOT of noise when you finish!!

This 5K is a race for all fitness levels. The course is mainly flat with a long slow rise in the middle. Come and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Finger Lakes Region. The Bath Kiwanis is a service organization sponsoring this race that has served the community for over 65-years. ALL proceeds from the race will go back to the Bath area through a variety of youth projects, senior citizen events and community needs.

This is a 5K  Run Walk in honor and memory of Jennie and LIsa Bailey. The proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit the Black Belts Against Domestic Violence programs to support victims of domestic violence. The race will also include a children's fun run.  Please consider making a donation and or becoming a fundraisers. Participants who become fundraisers and raise at least $100 will have their $35 registration fee waived.

Think Spring! Join us for the second annual Bath at Play Spring Colors 5k and Half-k Color Run! Runners will enjoy a beautiful out and back 5k un-timed course through scenic downtown Bath bursting with its own spring colors. Participants will begin and end their color run at the lovely Bridge Park on the banks of the Kennebec River. Volunteers will be scattered along the course wafting those puffs of colored powder to runners. For the littler runners, a shorter course along the waterfront is available and they can do as many half-k color loops as their legs (and t shirts) can handle. The timing of the two runs means that the 5k participants will run first and can meet back up with their littles to get an added color burst.
