SAFE-NOW Walk a Mile in Her Shoes 2026

Welcome to SAFE-NOW's 9th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes fundraiser Walk. Grab your friends, join us and walk a symbolic "mile" wearing high heels....if you dare!  Technically, it's really ONLY 1/2 Mile No heels? No worries you can borrow ours. Can't walk in heels? Come anyway and walk in your comfy shoes. Walk as an individual; create a team; or join a team!!! All proceeds go to support SAFE-NOW a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides Forensic medical Exams and Advocacy to victims of sexual assault, rape, child abuse, domestic violence and strangulation. The Light the Way 5K is a community run hosted by Youth & Family Services in celebration of our 50th Anniversary. This event supports the Youth & Family Services Emergency Youth Shelter and helps fund future plans for a new shelter facility to better serve youth in crisis.By participating, you are directly helping provide safety, stability, and hope to children and teens who need it most. Tri In July

The Tri in July is a sprint triathlon benefitting the Richard Kane YMCA Scholarship program. Your challenge will begin with a 400m pool swim. Next, you'll hop on your bike for a scenic 12-mile ride. Finally, you'll complete a mostly shaded 5k run on our city's beautiful Pathfinder Parkway. All finishers will receive a medal and a T-shirt so that you can let the world know that you are a triathlete!   **Our event will now include a KID'S DIVISION for ages 6 -13yrs!** Participants ages 6-9yrs 50m swim3 mile bike ride1 mile run Participants ages 10-13yrs will compete in a 100m swim3 mile bike ride1 mile run We would love to see your whole family on race day!

Sky Trail Adventure Challenge

Scouting America Sky Trail Adventure Challenge DescriptionThis adventure race begins with a wall climb and zipline before the timed portion starts! You'll safety-gear up to ascend the 24-foot climbing tower, zipline across Sand Creek, and cross the suspension bridge back to the Start Line. Run (or walk or jog) 3.2 miles around Camp McClintock's trails, kayak (kayaks provided!) 0.75 miles of the creek (out and back), and run 0.9 miles around our campground and by the Cub Cabin back to the Finish Line! The course showcases the rugged beauty of the Osage Hills, with rocky terrain, grassy fields, and challenging elevation changes. Sky TrailOur name was inspired by, and with help from, the Osage Nation whose history is in this land. Join us on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Woolaroc Wildlife Preserve for the 46th annual Run the Streets Woolaroc 8K & Fun Run – Bartlesville, Oklahoma Proceeds benefiting Run the Streets Schedule: Thursday, November 5th – Packet Pick-Up 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. –  To Be Determined Saturday, November 7th – Race Day      7:00 a.m. – Race day registration      7:30 a.m. – Woolaroc Gates Close      8:00 a.m. – Start of 8K run      8:05 a.m. – Start of 1-mile fun run   Race Day Details: You park, start and finish at the museum. The gates to Woolaroc Park close promptly at 7:30 a.m., so please plan to arrive early and parking is free. Runners and their guests are granted free admission to Woolaroc and are invited to visit the Woolaroc Museum and Lodge after the race. Kick off Thanksgiving morning with the Richard Kane YMCA Turkey Trot - a festive run that brings together family, friends, and neighbors before the big feast. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or just strolling for fun, this tradition is all about community, gratitude, and a little pre-pie calorie burn. 🦃👟 The Richard Kane YMCA - TURKEY TROT is a community timed 5K fun run/walk and a 1-mile fun run. The purpose of the event is to promote health and wellness through physical activity in a family-friendly environment. 🏁 Participants will complete a 5K (3.1 mile) course or a 1-mile course on the Bartlesville Pathfinder, and the event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Proceeds from the event will support Richard Kane YMCA's Membership For All program, giving families and youth in Bartlesville health and wellness opportunities regardless of their financial hardships.  Thanksgiving has become the most popular running day of the year
