Races

Picture yourself running a beautiful, tree-lined course along the 21 mile Banks-Vernonia State Trail.  Both events feature a gentle 7-mile, 400-foot downhill into Banks.  Hot soup, baked potatoes and hot showers await all runners and walkers. This Boston Marathon qualifier course, USATF Certified, is point-to-point, with 23 miles closed to vehicular traffic. The half marathon course is also USATF Certified.

The Brave Run starts and ends at the Banks High School track. Participants run/walk down the main street of Banks to the Banks-Vernonia State Trail.  Race continues down the Banks-Vernonia State Trail until the halfway point is reached for the 5K and 10K distance and then will head back to the starting point.  Unable to participate in person?  Consider registering for the virtual race.  Your support is appreciated!!Register before April 27th to order a t-shirt.    Limited quantities of shirts may be available for purchase day of race.  AwardsEvery participant will receive a finisher’s medal to remember the day.
