Whether you’re an experienced mountain biker or new to the sport, we’ve got a race you will find enjoyable and challenging. Many are familiar with triathlons competed on paved roads; however, fewer athletes have challenged themselves with an off-road duathlon. The transition area will be set up in the grassy field near the main park office. You’ll start and finish each leg of the duathlon from here. The first leg will be a 5k trail run that will wind through the trails going to the boat ramp. The trails are wide single track and should be a pleasant trail run. You’ll circle back to the transition area and get your bike for the second leg. The bike leg will enter the trail system from the beach to the left/east of the main office. Your ride will take you along the water's edge and through the woods over towards the camping area and Persimmon Beach. You’ll do several loops in the woods before returning to the transition area for the third and final leg of the race. The third leg will

Saturday, October 31, 2026 · Anderson County Courthouse, Anderson, SC His Mustache Dash All proceeds from the Mustache Dash will go to the South Carolina C.O.P.S. program in honor of fallen officer, Lieutenant Ethan Kaskin, on behalf of the Anderson City Police Department. Lieutenant Kaskin was not only a police officer, he was also a personal fitness trainer with his own business called Urban Crazy Fitness. Anyone who knew Lieutenant Kaskin would know that he took a lot of pride in the following: his wife, his family and friends, his law enforcement career, his mustache, and of course his clients of Urban Crazy Fitness. Prior to his sudden passing on September 25, 2020, Lieutenant Ethan Kaskin had planned to prepare his Urban Crazy Fitness clients to successfully complete a 5K. He had already thought of a name for this 5K: "Mustache Dash". Because he was not able to host the event that he had planned and prepared, with everyone's help and participation, we are going to bring his dreams to reality! A children's fun run will meet at 1:20 PM by the pool house; the fun run will start at 1:30 PM. Memory Lane 30 Hour Endurance Run (Bell Lap) Welcome to the return of the Bell Lap Endurance Run. This year the race will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association with the race named Memory Lane 30 hour endurance run. Anderson Run Club is planning to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association’s Ride to End ALZ- SC, an ultra bike ride across the state of SC in July of 2027. Stay tuned for more info on the ride as we would love for you to join our team. The Memory Lane 30 hour endurance race is completely free of charge which allows you to donate what you are able to a worthy cause. We hope to raise $5000 for the ALZ association but need you to hit that awesome goal! Info on the ride: Every July since 2009, hundreds of cyclists take a three-day, scenic group ride from the South Carolina foothills to the coast, all to raise funds and awareness for the research, care and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association®. Group Ride participants choose either The Grand Tour (257 miles) or The Half Tour (135 miles).Virtual Challenge participants pedal their miles throughout July wherever and whenever they choose. No matter how you Ride, you'll be a part of a community of cyclists and volunteers on a mission to end Alzheimer's. What: 30 hour Endurance run, run as little or as long as you like *Overnight runners will park at the venue with two main parking lots inside and additional parking on the grass to the right of the metal building also available. The Bridge center across the street has also allowed us to use their paved lot for Saturday parking for non overnight runners Course: A 2 mile loop consisting of a paved well maintained golf cart path with some grass crossovers. The grass on both edges of the path are mowed so you can also choose to run on all grass. Saturday overnight camping setup welcomed and encouraged for runners wishing to earn that buckle. The camping area is a flat grassy area that you will pass at the end of each loop directly in front of the indoor bathroom area. *Please bring a snack for the aide table and be prepared to be self sufficient if needed. * 4 Indoor restrooms will be available for use at the pool house area. Power is also available in this area which will be the start/ finish area *Let’s make this a cup-less event and bring your own hydration vessel. *Property is privately owned and we would love to host additional races at this location but it all depends on how we treat it for this race, please be respectful and clean up after yourself. This 6k trail run will take place on the wonderful trails of Sadlers Creek State Park. With 25% of the net profit will go to Gateway House located in Greenville SC. If you have not competed in an event with Tri And Like It, you will receive something extra at packet Pickup. Tri And Like It will pay the park entry fee for all runners/walker. 5th Annual Run for Recovery - Anderson   Hosted by The Bridge Center Recovery.   ABOUT:  The Bridge Center Recovery is a treatment facility for men seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addiction. We are located on West Whitner Street in Anderson, SC. The Bridge Center has been operating since August of 2020, and has helped over 300 men in an official capacity to date.    PROCEEDS: Race proceeds go back to our Scholarship Fund to financially assist men through our program. The current cost is $4,000 for 4 months. Join us on race day, August 14th, 2026 for The Peoples Bank Midnight Flight 1 mile at 8:15pm and 5k at 9pm. Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick-up will be held August 14th from noon until 15 minutes prior to each race starting. Packet pick-up will be held at the Anderson Area YMCA at the front of the building under the awning, and is a drive thru format until 5pm. After 5pm, driving through our parking lot becomes more congested, and we will switch to walk up pickup. Please check your email on race day for more information regarding packet pick up! Race Day Registration: All registration, including Race Day Registration, will be conducted through RunSignUp.com. We will not be holding any in-person, face to face race day registration.
