Bailey's Annual Heart & Sole 5K- Run/Walk

Bel Air, MD
💚 5th Annual Bailey’s Heart & Sole 5K-Run/Walk On Sunday, October 25, 2026, join Bailey’s Heart & Soul Foundation for the 5th Annual Bailey’s Heart & Sole 5K- Run/Walk in memory of Bailey Bullock. Five Years. One Legacy. One Starting Line. What began as a community coming together to remember Bailey has grown into a movement of awareness, preparedness, and action. This year, we want YOU at the starting line for our biggest and most impactful 5K yet! Whether you run, walk, bring the family, or build a team—there's a place for you. Race morning will kick off with an energetic warm-up followed by our timed 5K Run/Walk. After crossing the finish line, enjoy refreshments, cheer on fellow participants, and stay for our annual group photo and awards. 💚 THIS IS FOR BAILEY. Bailey Bullock was just 16 years old when he passed away suddenly on May 12, 2021, after experiencing Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Bailey was a son, brother, friend, teammate, classmate, student, and athlete at The John Carroll School. He loved football, basketball, track, technology, volunteering, his friends, and most of all, his family. His life ended at 16. His impact did not. In the five years since Bailey's passing, his story has helped inspire a movement. Young hearts have been screened, hundreds have received CPR/AED training, thousands have been reached through education and awareness, and advocacy helped turn Bailey's legacy into action through the Bailey Bullock Act, strengthening cardiac emergency preparedness in Maryland schools. AND WE'RE NOT FINISHED. Proceeds from this 5K help support youth heart screenings, CPR/AED education and training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest awareness, and cardiac emergency preparedness. 💚 THIS YEAR, DON'T COME ALONE. BUILD YOUR TEAM FOR BAILEY! Bring your family, coworkers, church, school, teammates, or running crew. Pick a team name. Rally your people. And let's see who can build the BIGGEST TEAM FOR BAILEY! You don't have to be a runner. Walk it. Run it. Bring the family. Just come. REGISTER. BUILD YOUR TEAM. MEET US AT THE STARTING LINE. Every Second Counts.™ 🏃🏽‍♀️ EVENT DAY SCHEDULE — OCTOBER 25, 2026 6:45–7:45 AM — Bib & T-Shirt Pickup 7:45 AM — Dynamic Warm-Up 8:00 AM — Welcome & Opening Remarks 8:05 AM — 5K Run/Walk Begins 9:00 AM — Group Picture 9:10 AM — Awards & Recognition 9:20 AM — Closing Remarks 10:00 AM — Event Wrap-Up With gratitude, Patrice (Bailey's mom).

Medal Madness 5K, 10K & 13.1M at Fort Washington, MD (44)

Fort Washington, MD
US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Please plan for the weather, bring anything you may want between laps, and check in with race staff if you need help. View Race Course, Results, and Race Information on the US Road Running race page.

2nd Annual AdvocaSAY 5K Walk/Run

Fort Washington, MD
Last year, we came together to Walk for Change—raising Awareness, strengthening Advocacy, and taking Action for individuals with disabilities and the families who support them. Because of your incredible support, that movement continues. This year, AdvocaSAY invites you to take the next step with us as we come together for our 2nd Annual 5K Walk/Run: “Moving for Change.” Moving for Change represents our commitment to turning advocacy into meaningful action. Every step we take symbolizes progress toward a more inclusive community where individuals with disabilities have access to the resources, opportunities, services, and support they need to thrive. We are moving for the families who are searching for answers. We are moving for parents who advocate every day for their children. We are moving for individuals with disabilities whose voices deserve to be heard. We are moving to create greater awareness, expand opportunities, and break down barriers. And we are moving to provide real support. Through AdvocaSAY, our mission goes beyond awareness. We work to help families access critical resources through grants for IEP advocacy and assistance, respite care, adaptive equipment, and other supports that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their caregivers. Every registration, every donation, every volunteer, and every step taken during our 5K helps move that mission forward. Last year, we walked for change. This year, we are MOVING for change.

Gobbler 5K, 10K & 13.1M at Fort Washington, MD (45)

Great Falls Half (Half/10k/5k)

Potomac, MD
Great Falls Half, 10K & 5K Saturday, November 21, 2026 · Great Falls Tavern, Potomac, MD Run the C&O Canal towpath along the Potomac, starting and finishing beside Lock 20 at Great Falls Tavern. All three distances head south along the canal past Widewater, Old Angler's Inn and Carderock, then turn for home. The towpath is flat, shaded crushed stone that was built for mules and is perfect for a fast fall race. Late November is the towpath's best season: the crowds are gone, the air is cool, and with the leaves down you get long views of the river. Every runner is tracked live on Geo.Racing, so your people can follow you down the towpath and be at the line when you finish. Collect your medal, then walk the boardwalk to the Great Falls Overlook and watch the Potomac pour into Mather Gorge. Start times: Half marathon at 12:00 PM, 10K at 12:30 PM, 5K at 1:00 PM. Finish line closes at 3:00 PM. Every entry includes: a race shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing and results, aid stations on the towpath, and live GPS tracking. Awards go to the top three men and women at each distance. Good to know: the field is capped under our National Park Service permit, so register early. The park charges $20 per vehicle (card only) at the Great Falls Tavern gate, and parking is limited, so carpool if you can. The towpath stays open to other walkers and cyclists: keep right and pass on the left. Presented by Old Dominion Racing.
