The iconic Bob Graham Sunshine Skyway Bridge spans lower Tampa Bay along Interstate 275 and brings together Pinellas, Manatee, and Hillsborough Counties.  This bridge will once again be showcased as it hosts the inaugural SunSky 10K: a 6.2 mile race across the bay along the Northbound lanes of I-275.   Runners and walkers will cross the Sunshine Skyway Bridge at over 200 feet above sea level for an unparalleled view and race experience.  FRESHJUNKIE Racing is excited to bring a new race and a new look back to the Skyway Bridge, the City of St. Petersburg, and the State of Florida.  The race will be limited to 8,000 participants on a first come, first serve basis.  Registration details will be announced in the fall of 2026.

Following the race enjoy Florida Silver Springs and its crystal clear water and legendary glass bottom boats. The main spring is surrounded by serene gardens and historic structures reminiscent of the days when Silver Springs was a major destination for Northerners arriving by steamship. 2027 Trail of Payne 5k, 10K & 1 Mile Fun Run  This years 15th annual Trail of Payne will have a 5k, 10K and a 1 Mile Fun Run (fun run is not chip timed) option at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park. This is a pure trail race you wont want to miss! This run promises to be one of the most unique in the area, so take advantage of our beautiful state park during and after the race. 5K and 10K will share a start and then split off on their own unique course. This is a completely new course, so if you have run before, we will be starting and finishing in a different area.  We will start the 5k and 10k at the Wauberg Lake picnic area and dock. Runners will head out on a dirt road before splitting and entering the trails. 5k will run Jacksons Gap Trail to Cones Dike where they will turn around and head back to the start/finish. THE RACE The MileBuilt 2-Day Challenge runs the internal asphalt course at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake in Orlando, FL, on April 3–4, 2027. Sand pine scrub, live oak, and cypress line the shore. Every repeat passes the pavilions, the water, and Southlake Overlook. The course stays inside the park's single gate — park and emergency vehicles still use internal roads, with one staffed crossing. Camp on-site and your start line is a walk from your tent. Five distances: 5K · 10K · Half Marathon · Marathon · 50K. Race one day or both — every distance runs each day.
