UltraTrax Burke Mountain

A mountain-built trek up Burke Mountain’s rugged Northeast Kingdom ridges. The route climbs forested single-track and old logging roads, then breaks onto rocky ridgelines and spruce-soaked slopes for sweeping valley and mountain-range views. Push your pace. Carry your weight. Move with the pack. Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked with a fun post-trek party for everyone to enjoy! Trek Day Information UltraTrax Burke Mountain kicks off at 7am on October 25, 2026. The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am with the post-trek party starting at 11am. It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course.
