TXTRI - Canyon Park - Powered by WORD of Comal Co.

The TXTRI at Canyon Park 2025 is serving as a replacement for Texas State Sprint Triathlon, that was suddenly canceled by the University. We are heart broken by these actions but also see a blessing in disguise by being able to move the event to Canyon Park and working with WORD of Comal County. TXTRI has a history at Canyon Park with an Olympic Distance Triathlon (circa 2005-2014). We are excited to bring triathlon and other activities to this beautiful venue. With the sudden cancelation and only two months to plan, for Nov 9th, 2025, we are focusing on bringing you a closed looped sprint course all inside the park, without traffic, simpler and safer course. For future events at Canyon Park and other locations around Canyon Lake we will be bringing more options and distances for triathletes to participate.
