The Race for a Place 5K & 10K Run/Walk

Join us for the 3rd Annual Front Porch Housing - Race for a Place! On Saturday, October 3rd, we come together to raise awareness for supportive housing, raise funding for supportive services, and celebrate our community. The Race for a Place is a 5K/10K race around the Front Porch property and neighboring Greenville Technical Campus. So, whether you're a runner, walker, donor, and/ or supporter, we invite you to join us.   Date - Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 at 8:00 AM  Where - 1433 Cleveland Street, Greenville, SC 29607  Packet Pickup - Morning of the Race, Starting at 6:30 AM Course - To Be Determined! Kids Policy -  Children 7 years old and under are free – no registration required. Free participants will not receive a race shirt. If you’d like a shirt, you must register; the smallest available size is Adult XS. Children under 8 years old are welcome to register if desired; they will receive an official race time but will not be placed in an awards division. Awards - Top Over
