SHAY 5K Run/Walk

Spreading Help Around You is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 2014 in honor of Shaylyn Anela Pinoliar, who tragically passed away on November 14, 2012. Our mission is to help and support families who have lost a loved one, educate them on the importance of being prepared during such a time of loss, and provide active service to the community.  As well as promoting Pedestrian Safety Awareness. This year, we proudly launched the SHAY Scholarship Program, marking an exciting new chapter in our commitment to supporting education and empowering future leaders.  Each year, since Shaylyn’s passing, family, friends, and community members gather to honor her memory with an Annual 5k Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning. Last year, we moved the event to Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was a great success, and we look forward to continuing the tradition this year to honor her memory.
