Run Thru Reston Half Marathon & 5K

The Reston Runners are hosting the 13th annual Run Thru Reston Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday, April 26, 2026, 7:30 AM The racecourse has some rolling hills on beautiful, paved trails. The course will be well marked and lined with friendly and supportive volunteers to boost your spirits along the way. The half marathon and 5K races will both start on the track at South Lakes High School. The Half Marathon will start at 7:30 am, followed by the 5K start at 7:45 am. Both races will finish on the track at South Lakes HS.The 5K race is perfect for walkers and families who are there to support their half marathon runner. We do not allow pets or strollers on the course.  We provide an extensive post-race feast for all race participants and volunteers. The courses are amply supported with eager volunteers, porta-potties (for the Half Marathon), race-course water and Gatorade.
