RACE THE RUNWAY 5K

Race the Runway 5K is back for its second year, and we are ready for takeoff! We are partnering with PGV Airport to put on a one-of-a-kind event that gives registered participants the unique opportunity to run, walk, or simply experience the actual flight line. Whether you are chasing a personal best, enjoying a walk with friends, bringing the family out for a memorable morning, or you just really love aircraft this event is designed to be welcoming, fun, and community-centered. Proceeds from this event help support the Junior League of Greenville, NC's service efforts across Pitt County, including our work addressing food insecurity and supporting children, families, and community partners through hands-on service and local collaboration. Whether you run, walk, cheer, volunteer, or come for the planes we are grateful to have you with us! This is more than a 5K. It is a chance to show up for community celebrate local partnerships, and do a little good while having a whole lot of fun!
