Mother's Day 10K

A new running off-road race on the Adirondack Rail Trail. Day before Mother's Day, Saturday May 9, 2026 starting at 1130a.  Out and Back event starting and,  finishing  at Bike Lake Placid (455 Old Military Rd).  Fun at the finish will allow everyone to enjoy a post-race celebration including food, drink, music and awards. Awards provide to the top 3 in the following categories: Youth (up to age 20) U10 for MayDay 5K  Open (21-45) Masters (46 up)  The non binary category will be ageless The race will feature a cup-less aid station/finish line supplying water and runners are encourage to bring their own vessel for water supply. This will help to reduce trash/create a more sustainable event. One on-course aid station will be located at the turn around just in the middle of the Ray Brook straightaway.  Parking will be provided at the LP Firehous lot near to the start.
