Hot August Night Trail Race

Hot August Night Trail Race is a 5 mile, 10 mile, or 20 mile night trail race in the Citrus Tract of the Withlacoochee Forest. Join us under the stars and take in the natural beauty and magic of the forest at night. The race starts and ends in Holder Mine, Inverness, FL. Headlamps/Flashlights are REQUIRED during the race. Dress in bright colors and use your creativity to make your outfits "lit" Race Details: The course will be marked with reflective pins and glow sticks. It is entirely on single-track trails. The trails wind through the woods and are packed sand or pine-needle covered, with some gentle ups-and-downs. At the completion of each loop, participants should cross the timing mat.  Packet Pickup: Begins at 5pm and continues until 7:25pm.  20 Mile Race start: 6pm. Runners must begin 2nd loop by 8:30pm. 2 X 10 mile loops.  10 Mile Race start: 7pm 1 X 10 mile loop.  5 Mile Race start: 7:30pm 1 X 5 mile loop.  Check-in will start 45 minutes prior to the start of the event
