Sawatch Ascent

Nathrop, CO
A classic, high-alpine, vert-heavy Colorado 50k! Get some miles on the Colorado Trail and run all the way to 13,150' feet in elevation! Starting and finishing at the base of Mount Princeton, runners are treated to panoramic views of the Sawatch Range and the gorgeous Arkansas River Valley. The race runs in a large lollipop and is essentially one long 7000' foot climb and one long 7000' descent. The beginning and end have a mix of dirt and paved roads, but the middle is 25 miles of uninterrupted singletrack, including 12 miles on the Colorado Trail. Yet, despite the amount of vert this course is surprisingly runnable, especially for a runner with mountain experience. Add in the changing aspen leaves and the (usually) perfect fall weather and you've got yourself one hell of end-of-the-season race. As an added bonus, the course shares some similarities with the High Lonesome 100 course and is put on by the same folks at Freestone Endurance. The race starts on Sunday, Septe

Loveland, CO
Our community is the only city in the nation to follow the old tradition of ringing bells throughout the town in the early morning hours of Veteran’s Day. This race will mimic some of those old traditions to honor our nation's veteran community. We are honored to be part of this event and look forward to the engagement of the families in Loveland. This event benefits Post 2000, which is created a Loveland Colorado Veteran's Assistance program.

TURKEY TREK (13.1, 10k, 5k & 2k)

Arvada, CO
This is not your run of the mill 'Turkey Trot.'  This is the Turkey TREK!  Are you up for the challenge?  Run a steady uphill climb to the summit of the course at the 3 mile mark.  Poised at the top of the hill is the infamous EGG NOG CHUG Challenge where racers (have the option) to chug 5 oz of eggnog.  (Those who 'chug' are entered to win a new pair of shoes!) It's windy and wild at the top and the limitless views are UNMATCHED.  Run the ridge for a mile before starting the more gradual, yet still winding, descent down the east side of the mesa.  Once down the hill, racers encounter a relatively flat straight-away peppered with HAY BALES for the hay bale hop challenge.  Continuing the clock-wise loop back into the park, runners find the final challenge - just one kilometer from the finish: Fill Your Pie Hole Challenge.  A fresh portion of holiday pumpkin pie awaits racers there.  Once the pie is 'down the hatch', the joy of the finish line isn't far aw
