Here’s how it all works - the event is a continuous game with 60 to 90 skaters playing on two teams in 3 rotating groups based on ability, with a running score from opening puck drop to the final horn. The Paul White Road Race course is 4.81 miles. The race begins and ends at 6 Chester Street, North Falmouth MA, between North Falmouth Library and Megansett Park on the site of the former Paul White's Market. The course has three moderate hills, the last one being the longest and right before the finish line. This race was created to commemorate local legend Paul White and to serve as the main fundraiser for the North Falmouth Village Association. The monies raised will be used to fund NFVA operating costs and 4 college scholarships for North Falmouth graduating seniors. We hope you will join us for this year's Reading Lions Journey for Sight 5K! The Reading Lions Club ("Club") and The Friends of Reading Recreation annually present a family-friendly 5K Road Race and 1 Mile Walk through central Reading.  All proceeds from the race are donated to the Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund (MLERF), and other local sight-related charities supported by the Club. MLERF finances basic eye research at world renowned institutions such as the Mass. Eye and Ear right here in Boston. Over the years, the Club has donated over $350,000 from the proceeds of this race to MLERF, and we are excited to continue these efforts in conjunction with the Friends of Reading Recreation (FORR).

Ride for the Boston Bruins Foundation's Pan Mass Challenge team this summer! The PMC's mission is to raise funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to Dana-Farber. The PMC offers 14 fully supported routes - from 25 to 186 miles - with different levels of cycling ability, fundraising capacity and logistics. The Greenfield Triathlon is the longest running triathlon in New England! Situated in the heart of Franklin County, the Greenfield Triathlon course meanders through the picturesque back roads of Greenfield, passes through the Historic Eunice Williams Covered Bridge, and features swimming in our very own Green River. Offering both International and Sprint distances for individual athletes as well as two- and three-person teams, the Greenfield Triathlon is great for both beginners and seasoned triathletes. Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Westminster residents facing hardship due to unforeseen challenges. The Westminster Benefit Fund is made possible entirely through the generosity of local families, businesses, and community groups. Each year, the Runners Helping Neighbors 5K Run/Walk plays a key role in our annual NHN Town Benefit Day—a day filled with fun, connection, and community spirit. This annual community open water swim event typically attracts an average of 200 swimmers split between three different distances. The temperature of the water is typically about 66 degrees F. The swim takes place in a calm, protected cove, and is well supported with at least a dozen volunteers in kayaks/paddleboarders. Cozy unisex t-shirts will be guaranteed for all participants pre-registered by August 1st. Latex swim caps will be provided for all swimmers. If you are allergic to latex, please feel free to bring your own.

The Watermelon Wobbler is a fun 5k trail run/walk/hike through scenic Wrentham conservation land and White Barn Farm property and is the second race in the Farm to Trail 5K Series!  It is open to all ages and skill levels.  The Watermelon Wobbler comes around in the thick of summer, when the days are long and the fun never ends! Our Peak Summer event celebrates just that - summa-summa-summa-time!  The course is thick and green and maybe a little dusty!  This event celebrates and supports the sustainability of local agriculture and land management by funding our mission to preserve open land and food security for our communities.  COURSE TERRAIN This is an off-road trail race. The Old Rochester Regional High School cross country and track & field teams are hosting a 5k race through beautiful downtown Marion, MA.  All proceeds from the race will benefit the cross country and track teams at Old Rochester to purchase new equipment to ensure continued success with our programs.  The race will start and end at Sippican School, and will run along the water through downtown Marion Village, and then loop back around to finish at the school.  T-shirts will be given to the first 200 athletes registered! For over 50 years, the Walpole Road Race has given local athletes the opportunity to challenge themselves and participate in a wonderful community tradition. The race is the largest fundraiser to support Walpole High School Cross Country / Track & Field programs. Veterans are at 72% higher risk of suicide than those who haven't served.  We need to do our best to help all Veterans get the assistance they need!    Company 2 Heroes (C2H) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit service dog training program that works with Veterans to train their own dog or rescue. There is no charge for our program, it is our duty, honor and privilege to give back to those who have given so much.   Real heroes don't wear capes; they wear dog tags.

EVENT INFORMATIONAfter five successful years as one of the most difficult sprint triathlons in the world, The GutCheck was reconfigured in 2019 as a point-to-point adventure race within Cape Cod’s 2000-acre DCR Nickerson State Park. Each year, the course will be different — and no one knows exactly what it will be until shortly before the race. Just know that it will be an endurance workout you won’t soon forget! WARNING!This is a race for intermediate athletes. Expect cold water, steep hills and difficult cliffside running trails paved with tree roots. While there will be emergency medical support on-site, all participants race at their own risk.
