The Cloquet River Run is a fun, family-friendly event organized by Churchill Elementary Partners In Education to promote health and wellness for the students and families of Churchill Elementary. Since 2007, runners and walkers of all ages have enjoyed the 1-mile and 5K races, both starting and ending at Churchill Elementary on USATF-certified courses. Proceeds support wellness and educational programs at Churchill Elementary, funding playground equipment, healthy snacks, tech, and more—thanks to our generous sponsors and participants. 1 Mile Run/Walk starts at 9:00 a.m., with the 5k Run/Walk following at 9:30 a.m.

NOTE: Youth Racers (17 and under) in the 5K and 10K race will be discounted to $20 at checkout. The Swedish Mile Trail Run and Family Fun Day feature a well-marked, timed, rugged, trail race using the trail system at the Vasaloppet Nordic Center.  There is a 10k Race, 5K Fun Run, and Kid's races in two distances (roughly 1/2 mile and 1 mile.). Both the 5k and 10k race are timed, The 10K race is supported by one aid station. Kid's racers receive a medal and a snack after the race.  The first 200 registered 5K and 10K racers will receive a commemorative gift* and a racer's lunch after the event (all 5K/10K racers). *Previous gifts have been a Swedish Mile shirt, running socks, and a ball cap

The Mill Towns Race Series, powered by Post Consumer Brands, offers chip-timed marathon, half marathon and 10K distances, all run on a flat, scenic course. The marathon is a Boston-qualifying, certified course. Take the stress out of racing toward your next PR or running your first half marathon or marathon!   The races start and finish in Memorial Park in the Mill Town of Dundas, where you'll also park, pick up your bib and enjoy pre- and post-race festivities. We will have water stops, finish line food and fun, race bibs and finisher medals. NEW FOR 2026: an optional race shirt you can order when you register. Our looping, tree-lined course takes you along the Cannon River from Dundas to the other Mill Town, Northfield, and then back again. Loopet Loppet is deepening your connection with the outdoors! We’re celebrating Dakota people, land, and traditions along Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ, the Dakota name for Bassett Creek. Join the Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet and run or walk a 6-hour or 12-hour experience that connects you with the earth in new ways. Start your Thanksgiving Day off with a 5k run.  The STMA boys and girls cross country teams will be hosting this 5k race at the Central Park in Albertville.   Proceeds from the race will be used to help support the teams.

The Woodbury Wobble 5K is a community event to encourage movement before the feast and a portion of our profits go to stock the shelves of our local food bank.  With your registration you will receive a race bib, gun timed race, fully marked course, post-race snacks, plus a swag item. Only the first 100 registered runners get the branded knit hat. (As of October 22, 2025 the first 100 hats are claimed. You can now purchase a hat with your race registration.) There will also be the turkey scavenger hunt along the course that kids can complete for a small prize. Kids ages 0 - 12 who would like a time, bib, and swag item will be $12, They will NOT get a hat. If your child is riding in the stroller or along for the run for fun they are free to run with you without charge. We are a cashless race this means we do not accept cash for registration on race day signups. Please register before you arrive.

This year there's two great ways to enjoy the annual Snowflake Shuffle 5K! About the race: Fast and fun certified course that meanders through St. Joseph, starting and finishing on the campus of the College of Saint Benedict. Welcome to the 12th Annual - 2027 White Continent Marathon & 1/2 Marathon®! For 2027, we will once again camp overnight on King George Island, Antarctica.   During the race, runners will be cheered on by penguins and seals.  Following the races our runners have been able to enjoy excursions to a penguin colony, where they saw Gentoo, Adelie & Chinstrap penguins.  They have also explored the nearby Russian Research base and their ornate Orthodox Church.  Those options may be available in 2027 as well, time and weather permitting. We are proud to be the Antarctic race with the most world records set at it, including: the first female hand cyclist to complete a Marathon in Antarctica (and now all 7 continents); the youngest female to complete a marathon on all 7 continents (in 2014 by a 15 year-old and again in 2015 by a 12 year-old); the youngest male to complete a marathon on all 7 continents (age 11 & age 10); the shortest number of days to complete 7 official marathons on

Welcome to the 2nd Annual – 2027 White Continent TriathlonTM! In December 2025 History was made.  A group of 6 brave pioneer triathletes succeeded in completing the first ever swim,  bike, run competition in Antarctica.   Marathon Adventures is happy to be the first, only and pioneer in this arena. This event will be hosted in conjunction with our White Continent 50k, Marathon & Half-Marathon®. The Triathlon will be limited to 20 Triathletes.  The swim will consist of upto a 400 meter swim, followed by a 20 km bike, and concluded with a 5km run. Final distances will be determined based upon final approval from governmental authorities. The Tentative dates for the 2027 WCT are: January 17-25, 2027. Plan to ski the Vasaloppet USA February 13-14, 2027 in Mora, Minnesota.  Snowmaking provides confidence of great skiing conditions!  Races are comprised of either one or two laps on a course that is designed to be fun, yet offers skiers a satisfying challenge to complete.   NOTE: The Vasaloppet USA ski race has joined the U.S. Ski and Snowboard association in banning the use of fluorinated ski wax in competition. We encourage all competitors to abide by this policy for all events on the Vasaloppet properties and trails. Fluorinated Wax (Fluoros) are banned from use and not permitted in the Vasaloppet Nordic Ski Center complex or on the Vasaloppet trails.
