RACE INFO: We are so excited to celebrate the 43rd annual Lake Chabot Trail Challenge Half Marathon and 5K. This race is well regarded amongst serious trail runners in the outlying areas. The race begins at 8am for the Half Marathon and 8:30am for the 5K. Please arrive early so that you may find parking, pick up your bibs, use restrooms facilities, and be properly prepared to race before the start. Race takes place rain or shine and there are no refunds. RACE COURSE: The half marathon course is a scenic, hilly loop, mainly on dirt fire roads.  The ridge-line views look down upon scenic Lake Chabot, surrounding grassy slopes, and eucalyptus groves.  Mt. Diablo and San Francisco Bay are visible along the route. There are water stations with first aid and radio support; we recommend bringing your own hydration as well.  The half marathon has a time limit of 3.5 hours. Are you ready to SCRAMBLE? This amazing new trail race showcases the best of the Susan River Canyon! Runners will head up the Bizz Johnson Trail from Hobo Camp for the first half and return via the beautiful and flowy singletrack on the Southside trail across the river. The Southside Scramble has 3 different distances to choose from, a 22K, a 14K, and a 7K. All races start and end at the Hobo Camp Day Use Area. On ODD years, we will run a reversed course! Welcome to the first Red, White & Blue Race! This event benefits Code 3 Mind Health, Inc.  We are a local non-profit that provides mental health wellness checks for first responders.   This course is along the scenic coastal trail in Fort Bragg California.  The event begins at the south coastal trail (Noyo Headlands Park) and continues north with the 5k turnaround being near the compass rose.  If you participate in the 10k run, you will continue north past historic Glass Beach, and across the Pudding Creek Trestle onto the historic Mackerricher Haul Road with the turn around being near the "silver gate" entrance.  For the half-marathon participants, the course continues along the Haul Road, through Mackerricher State Park and turning around just before the entrance to Ten Mile State Preserve.  This course is ocean front, with epic views every step of the way!  For those of you that have participated in races in this area before, it will look very much like the Whale Run cou

Hey Falcon 5k supporters - we've already locked down the date for next years run! Join us on Saturday, August 15th for the Second Annual Falcon 5k, a community event supporting the College Park High School Cross Country Team! This race is a great way to celebrate the start of the season, build our community, connect with local runners, and show your support for our student-athletes. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a proud alumni, or a supportive community member, this event is open to all and promises a fun, energetic atmosphere. Proceeds will go directly to the CPHS cross country program to help with travel, gear, and meet expenses. *Sign up and take advantage of early bird pricing from Mother's Day through Father's Day only! The Race Thru The Redwoods starts and finishes at Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton, California.  The majority of the 10K race occurs under the majestic redwoods of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park.  The Felton Business and Community Association and many local volunteers help manage and administer the race. We are very excited to continue this race back for another year; with all that has gone on over this year and last, it is nice to do something that brings back fond memories and reminds us how lucky we are to be able to race, run, walk, or jog in such a lovely place. My wife and I fell in love under these trees at this race in 2013. The race is open to anyone: runners, walkers, strollers, and joggers. Stinson Beach to Mill Valley and back to Stinson again, entirely on the world-famous Dipsea Trail both ways! The Double Dipsea has been run 56 times since 1970 and 2027 will be #57. This is a handicapped race, so everyone (except the male under 40 division) gets a head start.  In 2026 our winner was 66 (female) and our top 10 finishers included 3 females and 7 males with ages ranging from 15 to 67.  Waves are adjusted each year, so you never know who might cross the line first. But it isn't really about the time, it's about the epic journey.  Young and old, fast and slow, all are welcome to start and as long as you can make the generous race cutoffs, you can get it done!
