Coach’s Corner Bar & Grill will proudly serve as our Boone County stamp, and we can’t wait to celebrate this stop with you. Spirits Run events are relaxed, social 5Ks where runners and walkers explore a local route, visit a historic cemetery, and return for great drinks, great food, and great company. This is not a timed race — it’s a fun morning with fun people. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the entire CHARGE community will gather virtually for our 7th Annual Walk and Roll for CHARGE! We are fundraising to help support our families through our Family Assistance Programs, research, and outreach. Whether you want to walk/run a 5K, take a stroll, or even hop on a bike, the goal is to be active while raising money and awareness for the Foundation.  Gather together in person or virtually with family or friends in your community.  In the past, groups have met up at local parks, indoor malls, tracks, and neighborhoods. No matter how you participate, our goal will always remain the same: A Better World for People with CHARGE syndrome. Come join the New Lenox School District 122 PTO, Wellness Committee and New Lenox Safe Community Coalition in supporting Mental Health and Wellness by participating in a 5K Run/Walk for Mental Health and Wellness event.  Start your day by walking or running the 5K and stay for the Wellness Fair. The Wellness Fair will include businesses from the surrounding areas that can aide in mental, physical and nutritional wellness as well as self-care.  Enjoy the family oriented activities and purchase some fabulous food from the food Trucks while you are there. The race date has been updated and finalized! Race day is April 25, 2026. The Superhero Run is a 5K - Kids 1K Fun Run/Walk - and Virtual Run.  All races will start and finish at the FOE on the corner of Washington and Liberty Streets in Nostalgic Downtown Morris, IL. The 5K will start at 9am with the Kids and Anyone 1K immediately after the end of the 5K (approximately 10am). We encourage everyone to come dressed as their favorite Superhero. For the 2026 year, GFWC - Morris Woman's Club will donate the race proceeds to "The Heart of a Hero Award" that spotlights a Morris Senior that demonstrates quiet acts of good and heroic deeds. The GlenVegas Gambler is at Lake Glendale Recreation Area. You can expect flow, chunky rocks and roots, lung and leg burning climbs and some of the fastest downhills in all of the Shawnee! These trails have been hand tuned and are maintained by members of the Shawnee Mountain Bike Association and other volunteers. These are the first trails to be designated for MTB use in the Shawnee National Forest and are some of the best riding we have in our area.. All proceeds from this race will support future trail building and maintenance by the Shawnee Mountain Bike Association.  Registration opens January 5th! Racing will start at 10AM on Saturday, April 25th with the Experts and Sport/2 lap race will start and at 10:15AM the Beginner and Youth race will start. Finishing up with the kids class at 10:30. Half-Wits and SRRC Members are invited to a post race bRUNch party at Floyd’s Thirst Parlor/3rd Shift Kitchen to celebrate the half marathon and the start of a great running season! The 40th Annual Arny Johnson run/walk will be held on Saturday, April  25, 2026, 8 am at Zenith Park Way Trail Head (5451 Zenith Pkwy Loves, Park, IL 61111)   The race is the same location as last year, starting and finishing near the Zenith Park Way Trail Head. Both races will go out along Willow Creek Path and into Rock Cut State Park. Corse map down below! There is a 5k and a 10-mile run/walk. The races will be a gun start all at the same time.  This is a Kid Friendly Race. All 18 and under are $15 (price adjustment at check out.) There will be three water stops for the 10-mile course. When leaving and re-entering the Willow Creek Path near the dam, you will pass it twice. And near the north entrance to the park where the paved path crosses the road. RACE CHARITY:  Once again, the Fire Department Coffee Foundation will be the charity for the race.  They are supporting firefighters who are sick or injured on the job. Come and join the Plainfield Twisters for our opening weekend event! We're starting the day with bib pick up at 8am and starting the run at 9am. During the event we will raffle off baskets as well as holding a 50/50 raffle. Half of the proceeds will go to our 12u Twister team to support them during the spring season and the other half will be donated to the Plainfield Athletic Clubs Angels division. Angels baseball is a team designed for special needs children between the ages of 5-18. Afterwards the Twisters will be hosting a round robin where they will play against 3 other teams! There will be food, prizes, and a whole lot of softball to enjoy.

The Feet Meet was started over years ago intending to be a family event to help encourage and promote physical fitness in our community.  We host a 1 mile and a 5K fun run/walk.  Both are aimed at getting our families out, exercising, and having fun!  The more our children are introduced to different kinds of physical fitness, the more likely they are to be comfortable with it.  Kids are even more likely to take note of physical fitness when they see their parents join in the fun! Traditionally, the Feet Meet has been a great success in promoting family fitness and healthy lifestyles.  Our participation has ranged from 400 to over 1,000 runners. Hi Central Road Community!  It’s the LAST DAY!! We need your help! We are short of our goal! The PTA will be holding a fundraising campaign that will conclude on April 18th with the NEW Wolfie Dash Obstacle Course.  All funds raised will help pay for the PTA events that make Central Road great!  These events include: assemblies, Fall Fest, Multicultural events, classroom holiday parties, teacher appreciation week, Veterans Day breakfast, and much, much more.  At the end of our fundraising period, students will participate in the Wolfie Dash where they will be running, jumping, crawling, and climbing. The Wolfie Dash will bring in over 75% of PTA funding for the next school year, as well as some much needed items for this year. Join the Scott AFB Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Office for our annual Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) 5K, a community event dedicated to promoting awareness, solidarity, and a culture of prevention across the installation. This 5K run/walk brings together Airmen, families, civilians, and mission partners to honor survivors, reinforce our commitment to a safe and respectful environment, and highlight the importance of proactive prevention. Participating in the Kirby Derby is a great way to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while having fun. All the proceeds go to the development of the Wellness Trail provided by the Kirby Foundation. For more information and online registration click on the links above. T-shirt deadline is 11:59pm cst on April 3, 2026!Please note that registration will be open until 7:30am on race morning, however there will be no cash registration available at the park on race morning.  Same day registration will be completed on your mobile device. If you need to switch events, the deadline to do so is 12pm the day before the race.  Bib and shirt pickup will be Friday from 4-5:30pm or on race morning 6:45-7:45am. Join us for the 4th Annual 5k and 1 mile run/walk to raise funds for the Angel of Hope Statue and Memorial Garden! The race begins at the future location of our Angel of Hope Statue and Memorial Garden, in the open lot across the street from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis. Registration begins at 7:00 AM, and the race starts at 8:00 AM. All Children 12 and under can register for $5 - price will change at checkout for these youth registrations. The registration fee for participants 13 and older is $25 until April 25th; the price will then increase to $30. Participants can register on the morning of the event, however, we strongly encourage participants to register before the event. We plan to start the race promptly at 8:00, and to ensure that, we cannot guarantee that day-of-event registrations will receive a race timing bib. Everyone who comes to register the day of the event will still be able to register and participate in the race!

The Highland Fire Department Auxiliary was founded in 2019 to help support the Highland Fire Department and the community. We provide financial support for Fire Department initiatives, food/beverages for the team during fires and emergencies, and we support those families impacted by fires.  Registration for the event will begin at 7:00 a.m. at the Madison County Fairgrounds. Join us for our annual 5K Walk-A-Thon in support of adolescent physical and mental wellness. This event helps raise funds for our 4-week summer camp serving students in 3rd through 8th grade. More than a summer program, this camp is designed to be a safe, active, and encouraging space for youth during the summer months. The HOH 5k is the sole fundraiser for the HOH scholarship program. This race is organized by the Northbrook District 28 PTO Council with volunteers from Greenbriar, Meadowbrook, Northbrook Junior High and Westmoor. All proceeds benefit the Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund. 5K runners and walkers will start at 8:00 a.m with a group start. We welcome strollers, but NO dogs, bikes or rollerblades please. The lot behind the junior high will be closed from 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. for the race. The race is chip timed for instant results of the race. Runners can see their results after they finish. At 9:00 a.m. there will be a kids fun run.  Kids age 6 & under are invited to participate. Registration for the kids run will close at 7:45 a.m.

Just 1 hour from Chicago's Loop enjoy riding flat & lightly rolling country gravel roads.  Ride through farmlands as farmers make their final preparations for planting season.  The event will start & finish on a cinder track in Waterman, IL with a finish chute like none other in gravel.  Our event is unique in many ways.- Prior to the ride there is Pancakes & Coffee free to all riders (6:30am-8:00am)- Choose your distance on the fly. Join us for the annual Ride to the Sky, starting from the beautiful campus of John A. Logan College in Carterville, IL. Whether you are a seasoned climber or a weekend warrior, this event offers a distance for everyone through the rolling hills and scenic vistas of Southern Illinois. For 2026, funds from this event will be donated to The Boys and Girls Club of Southern Illinois. This year, there are 3 route options - 12 miles, 30 miles, and 54 miles.  All courses will have aid stations with food and drinks.  Lunch will be served for all participants post-ride. Registration closes on 5/2/2026 at 9:00 a.m. when the ride begins. The start will have a lead-out and courses will be marked.  All riders must be registered online and check-in on day of ride to receive an arm band that must be displayed at all times during the ride. The Chain of Rocks Bridge has become the permanent home of our Spring Duathlon. Originally held on the historic Eads Bridge we re-located the event to a longer bridge and a more rural bicycle course. Participants will run from Start Line to the Mississippi River and back, followed by a flat, fast out and back bike circuit, returning to a final out and back run leg to the river and back with great views of the mighty Mississippi River. Awesome, right?!
