We are excited to invite you to join us for the 10th Annual Kindness Matters Walk (KM Walk) - a milestone year for a community tradition built on hope, gratitude, and action.  In 2026, participants can join us in person on Thanksgiving morning in Fullerton, CA, or participate virtually from wherever you are.  However you choose to take part, every step helps carry Katie's legacy forward.  All participants are encouraged to register online in advance of the walk. Welcome to the 9th annual Huffin' for the Stuffin' Turkey Trot presented by the City of Lincoln Recreation Department. Our 5K run is LIVE with professional timers as we continue our festive engagement with families and community. There is a .17 mile Donut Dash for children 4 to 7 years old to take part in but its limited to particpnats and typically sells out.  This event is a FUN RUN and meant for community engagement & family FUN! There will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finisher awards as well as general finisher award for participants who sign up before the deadline. The Sebastopol Turkey Trot 5K is more than a Thanksgiving morning run—it’s a fundraiser for the young people in our community. The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge’s Thanksgiving Run – a 5K and Kids’ Mile – has been a local tradition and a community favorite for more than three decades. It is the Community Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and proceeds will directly support the development of inclusive programs that serve the needs of all members of our surrounding communities. Both the 5K and Kids’ Mile are professionally timed races that begin at Olberz Park in La Cañada Flintridge. The 5K will begin at 8:15am and the Kids’ Mile will begin at 9:30am. Awards will be given to the top finishers in both races, and all Kids’ Mile participants will receive a medal.

Visalia Emergency Aid's (VEA) Race Against Hunger is on the most thankful day of the year, and we are so thankful that YOU are joining us! We are recognized as the largest timed Thanksgiving 5K Run in the Central Valley, with over 6,000 participants! However, we are more than a race - we are building community! As a participant, you'll not only join thousands of runners and walkers from the Central Valley, but you'll also be able to say that you are helping the Visalia Emergency Aid Council ensure that no child goes to bed hungry in Tulare County. Welcome to the Turkey Chase, Napa's only Thanksgiving Day 5K/10K!  The Napa Valley Turkey Chase is a fun family event! Race, jog or walk this fast, paved course around the Napa Valley College and the Napa River Trail and work up your Thanksgiving appetite! The start & finish line are located in lot J behind the Napa Valley College track. Lot J will also be the staging area for packet pick-up, day of race registration, booths and toilets. There is NO PARKING in lot J . The 10K course runs a counterclockwise loop through the college and then meets the Napa River Trail. Runners will go north to a turn around under the Imola bridge near mile 2. Then they will run south to Kennedy Park where the course makes a small counterclockwise loop near the skate park and then retraces the route back up the river trail. Solano Turkey Trot is a public benefit charity race in Solano County, California, comprised of 501(c)(3) partner organizations serving high risk children, families and seniors. We believe in a collective impact model with the goal of raising public awareness and education by holding fundraising and community events such as the Solano Turkey Trot. This annual event began on Thanksgiving Day 2009, with the vision of bringing a family-friendly 10K Run/5KRun/Walk to the local area. This event helps raise much needed funds to support the Solano Hearts United partner organizations in serving local families in need. Thanksgiving day races at Point Pinole! 10K, 5K & Little Turkeys Thanksgiving Day Run There will be a 5K and 10K, as well as the Little Turkeys Race: a run for the kids (roughly 100 yards) against the Nitro Turkey. Children (10 and under) attending with 5K/10K runners will receive free entry into Little Turkeys and receive special medals and a goodie bag. Nitro Turkey is also hosting a food drive for the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano and encourages every little turkey to bring at least one canned good on race morning.
