The XC course has plenty of climbing, loose‑over‑hard tech, scattered rock gardens, sweeping turns, and a touch of sand to keep you honest. The enduro drops from the summit through three rowdy stages packed with black‑diamond features, steep chutes, tight corners and chunky surprises. Rain or shine, the mountains are calling — and if you’re bold enough, the All‑Mountain category lets you take on both races on the same bike. Open runners of all ages race on the official three-mile Sunset Conference high school cross country course. It includes grass, dirt, asphalt, hills, and a loop around the lake at Huntington Beach (CA) Central Park. Spectators have an excellent view. Open race starts at 8 am. After that, high school teams compete on the same course. Medals available for several age groups, boys/girls and men/women. Entry fee is $25. Come join us for the 49th annual Manhattan Beach 10K on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 7:30 am. Experience one of the most scenic 10K courses in the South Bay with live music and a post-race expo at the finish line! 4,000 runners will take to the streets for this course through downtown and residential Manhattan Beach, finishing at the Manhattan Beach Pier. Awards given to top 10 in age group and team categories with prize money awarded to overall winners.

Join us for another ride around San Diego Bay while we raise money to help our homeless neighbors!  TACO served 31,000 meals and delivered 33,000 pieces of mail last year and riders from Bike The Bay The TACO Way keep those programs running!  This ride is a flat, 25-mile loop around San Diego Bay, featuring numerous bike paths, very few road sections and a ferry crossing near the end! The route is enjoyable for beginners and experts alike. Riders are fully-supported with water/snack stations and a stocked Sag Wagon.   At the end of the ride, you're welcome to join us for lunch on the patio! Take on the hills of the Garin Park XC Challenge in one of the beloved East Bay Regional Parks.  Complete with stunning views, challenging climbs, and a few gopher holes to keep your wits alive, this ~5k XC race will make your quads burn like the ends of a beef brisket, and your lungs rethink their purpose in life.  After your heart consults Webster's to make sure it does indeed have the correct definition of myocardial infarction, it will bask in the glory of a flat ~0.5 mile stretch into the finish where it feels all the love. This year's event is set to be our biggest yet - featuring special survivor recognition, local vendors, food & drink, music, raffle prizes, and more! Links for Life raises breast cancer awareness and celebrates local survivors with this fun community event. All net proceeds raised are donated and invested directly into our programs and services. This includes funding diagnostic services such as mammograms, providing wigs and head coverings, and offering nutrition education alongside monthly grocery cards. This is a 5k walk-run race for all ages. It is at Central Park in Rancho Cucamonga, October 3, 2026, with a registration sign in at 7 am. Start of race is 8:30 am. Award medals will be issued as well as "On the Spot" gift cards. This race is hosted by Legends Live Forever Foundation in honor of LCPL Dylan Merola who was KIA Kabul, Afghanistan August 26, 2021, during the humanitarian efforts of Operation Freedom. The proceeds for this event go strictly to the foundation's scholarship program as Dylan wanted to attend college and further his education.

The event is a fundraiser organized by the City of Reedley Community Services Department and  the Reedley Parkway Committee. Funds raised will be used to assist with additional amenities/improvements to the Parkway (picnic tables, signage, artwork, kiosk upgrades, and similar) and equipment/supplies for the volunteers to maintain the Parkway. Two-day adult sailing classes are offered most weekends from 9 am to 4 pm at Fiddler's Cove Marina. Classes are open to all eligible MWR patrons and sponsored guests. Minimum age requirement is 16 years or older with a parent or guardian. Class fees per person vary by military affiliation and rank. Dependent fees are calculated at the sponsoring active duty or retiree rate. Pre-registration is required as classes can fill up quickly. Registration includes boat rental, instruction, and textbooks. Students per boat will be kept to the minimum amount possible in order to maximize learning potential and will range from one to four. Number of students per boat is dependent on the boat size, sailing conditions and the skills being developed in the class.
