This 5K offers the natural beauty of the Palos Verdes trails. Enjoy the shade of eucalyptus trees as you traverse the well-groomed horse trails over gently rolling hills. Invigorate your body. Soothe your soul.  Please note: Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the course, per City of Rolling Hills Estates regulations.

Run 50 miles from Norco, CA (AKA Horsetown USA) to the beautiful California coast in Huntington Beach (Surf City USA). On this run, you will experience the beauty and the beast that is Southern California.

This race was developed to honor the police officers from Stanislaus County who were killed in the line of duty. In honor of these heroes, the start line, finish line and each mile of the half marathon will be dedicated to one of the 20 fallen officers from Stanislaus County. The officers photo along with the agency they worked for and their “End of watch” date will be displayed at their mile marker.

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Cindy is a mother, a wife, a friend who  received this diagnosis.So, we race. We race for awareness. We race for the 1 in 8. We race for the survivors. We race for Cindy.We race for breast cancer.

The course is a 4.5 mi loop around Lake Merced.

About the Lafayette Res Run for Education The Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette are co-sponsors of the Lafayette Res Run for Education which is traditionally held the third Sunday in October.    The 2025 Lafayette Res Run for Education will be held Sunday, October 19. 5k: 8am, 10k: 8:15am, 2 mile: 8:45am in downtown Lafayette, CA.   Back by popular demand, from its introduction in 2020, you can register for the Reservoir Challenge – the virtual race which “runs” around the 2.7-mile paved trail of the Lafayette Reservoir October 11-18. Please note, the Reservoir Challenge is not an option on Sunday, October 19 as the Reservoir will be closed for the 10K runners. Run for Austin’s Lungs is a family-friendly 5K walk/run held in honor of baby Austin, who is bravely battling chronic lung disease. Join us to celebrate his first birthday, raise awareness of his Chronic Lung disease, and support his ongoing medical care. Every step taken helps give Austin the breath of a brighter future. The entire registration fee (minus the $4 processing fee) goes directly to Austin’s care. We'll forgive you if you have trouble concentrating on the road ahead of you while running The Humboldt Redwoods Marathon, half or 5K. After all, you'll probably be looking up at the old-growth redwood trees which tower over the course! This race is in Humboldt Redwoods State Park and the Half Marathon follows the second half of the iconic Avenue of the Giants Marathon course. All courses are USATF Certified. The Marathon is a Boston qualifier. The race starts and finishes at the Dyerville Bridge.

Set PRs and qualify for the Boston Marathon on this fast, downhill course! Total net downhill loss for the marathon is 929 feet making it the PERFECT course to qualify on! Per official B.A.A. confirmation, there will be no time penalties assessed for this course. All races in 2026 will be Sunday, October 11. The marathon and 50K start at 8:00 AM at Mason Station Trailhead on McCoy Road with an out-and-back before jumping onto the Bizz Johnson Trail at Mason Station where the races travel through scenic Lassen National Forest. The first few miles of the course climb approximately 280 feet through the forest to Westwood Junction, then it’s downhill to the finish at Susanville, with a 1300-foot descent over the final 20 miles. The County of Santa Clara Reentry Resource Center and its partners are hosting a 5K run/walk to raise money to support the immediate needs of justice-involved people (clothing, food, hygiene, transportation, etc.). The in-person 5K will take place on Saturday, October 17th at Hellyer County Park with a race start time of 9:00AM. Participants who choose the virtual option can run or walk the race on the day and time of their choice between October 17, 2026, and October 31, 2026. Big Sur River Run is a benefit race for two important Big Sur community organizations, Big Sur Health Center and Big Sur Fire. There are two races, a 10k and 5k. Both courses are all flat, black-top road loops alongside Big Sur River, through Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park's redwood and oak grove campgrounds. The 10k is a certified course. The 5k is a Family Fun Run or Walk. No Bicycles, dogs, strollers, skates, wagons, or other wheeled conveyances (other than wheelchairs) are permitted. Prizes for 10K Race winners and top finishers. Since 1981 two of Big Sur’s most vital institutions have been supported by the generosity of those who love to run. Most who visit Big Sur revel in the remoteness without taking in the impact it has on emergency services. The local Volunteer Fire Department, Big Sur Fire, and the Big Sur Health Center both rely on donations to provide support for visitors and residents alike.
