Before we jump into this year’s preview, let’s be clear about one thing: this 5K includes trails. Yes, trails. Consider this your official trail disclaimer. We are excited to return to our original setup, starting and finishing on the high school track. There is nothing better than beginning inside the stadium and closing out your race with a strong lap on the track. Fast start. Fast finish. Wildcat style. Because of ongoing construction in several areas around campus, this year’s exact route is still being finalized. Our team is designing a fun and adventurous course that embraces the spirit of this event. The finalized course map will be reviewed and posted soon. You can expect a mix of surfaces that keeps things interesting. Portions of the trail, including dirt and grass. Some road sections to let you open up your stride. A combination that reflects cross-country grit with just enough pavement to stay fast. This is not a pure road race. It is not a straight cross-country course eit

Our 8th annual Badges and Bravery 5k! Enjoy the 5k course through Allegan or the Kids Fun Run. We encourage everyone to dress up at their favorite hero! Community friendly event. After the race, please join us for refreshments and delicious food.  Family fun for all ages!  Your registration includes sign-up fee and a finishing medal, individually designed by children participating in therapy at Safe Harbor. Shirts are available for purchase. Onsite registrations are welcome on race day, but shirts are not guaranteed. Join Bath Township for the annual Bath Fest 5k run/walk on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM! The 5k run/walk will be held at the Bath High School Cross Country Course. This is a family friendly event, all ages and abilities are welcome! Welcome to the 51st running at beautiful Clark Lake.  WOW ! ! OVER a Half a century of Road Racing at beautiful Clark Lake. Please come celebrate with us. The first run was in 1976 and only one event was a 7 Mile around the Lake. In 1993 WE made the 7 miler a 12K and added a 5K Run, 5k Walk & 3/4K kids Run. This year we will again be putting an emphasis on the 12K with added prize money in this event.  Truly one of Michigan's Premier summer events. You will enjoy the course that encompass the lake on gently rolling hills with breathtaking lake front views, Our post race party and award ceremony at the Beach Bar Patio on the shore of Clark Lake is  second to none. The Laker 5k Run, 5k Walk, and 1/4 Kids Fun Run are held at EPBP Laker Schools. The race is a fundraiser for the Laker Cross Country Team.

Lace up and join us for the Guest House Run Over Addiction 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run—a community event celebrating hope, recovery, and the life-saving mission of Guest House. The 1-Mile Fun Run, great for kids and families, begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K race at 9:00 a.m. on the scenic campus of Guest House, home to the historic William E. Scripps Mansion in Lake Orion, Michigan. Proceeds from this event directly support Guest House’s mission to provide the information, education, treatment and care needed to assure that Catholic clergy, men and women religious, and seminarians suffering from alcoholism, addictions, and other behavioral health conditions have the best opportunity for quality recovery and overall health and wellness.  For the first time, we are proud to offer a virtual 5K option, allowing supporters near and far to participate. The Wurst Kilometer was dreamed up after one too many at Meantime in Detroit. It’s one brat, one mliko and one highly questionable kilometer. Its the kind of thing that shouldn’t exist but now that it does, you know you want to try it. Just like its daddy race, all proceeds after cost will be donated to Rebel Dogs Detroit. Unlike its daddy, there are no laps involved. You know you want to give it a shot. Also, it is the wurst kilometer, so it’s happening mid-afternoon in August.   Registration includes a race day tank and sticker, brat and mliko.

Race yourself and other competitors up the 500 stairs of Giant Pine Mountain in Iron Mountain, Michigan.  Are you tough enough to become the "King of the Mountain"? How about tackling the Deuce? Better yet, Challenge yourself to the EXTREME route!   New for 2026 - the Pine Muddin' 500, Trail run! Tackle one of our trails before you climb the stairs. Route is TBD but we can assure you - it's going to be a new challenge that'll be worth every second of training!    The event will start at the top of Pine Mountain.  Participants will race down Kramer Drive to Lower Pine Mountain Road/Hibbard Street before turning on Pine Mountain Road and racing to the Pine Mountain 500.  Event is chip timed and participants will receive an overall and a Pine Mountain 500 time. On Wednesday, August 5 the Run for the Sun 5k will return to Kollen Park in downtown Holland, beside the beautiful Lake Macatawa.  Here are a few details about the event:  Race Location: Kollen Park, 240 Kollen Park Drive, Holland MI, 49423 Parking: Limited parking is available on the east end of Kollen Park where the race begins. There is also street parking nearby with a short walk to the park, or in the west area of Kollen Park, near the boat launch area.  Packet Pick-Up: Bib pickup begins at 4:30pm until race time, adjacent to the starting line in the east end of Kollen Park (near the playground area)! Runners who reserved a t-shirt size by the deadline will be able to pick up their shirts! Our mission at 22 2 None is to stop the inconceivable number of veterans who take their own lives by reaching out, searching for, and supporting those who have sacrificed themselves both physically and mentally for this country, and now fight a daily inner battle with demons no one can see. The Ore to Shore is set in the beautiful Upper Peninsula and utilizes much of the same trail as the popular Noquemanon Ski Marathon. HARD ROCK (48 MILE POINT-TO-POINT)The race course traverses some of the most scenic terrain available in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The course starts in downtown Negaunee, which is the “birthplace” of iron ore mining in Michigan. The first two miles will be a roll-out on pavement, and then the race will hit the dirt as you make your way to Ishpeming. There you will detour through downtown and travel the city streets for another mile. Then you’re back on the trails. The course will roll with the hills as you gradually drop in elevation to Marquette. You will be captivated as you pass by the lakes, rivers, ponds, and wildlife along the way. The course is wide enough the entire way to allow for easy and safe passage, but yet remains “tunneled” by nearby trees to give the sense of winding your way through the forests. One of the most beautiful 26.2 courses in the state of Michigan around Crystal Lake in Beulah. The course starts and finished at the east end of Crystal Lake in Beulah (start and finish rough 400 meters apart).   As in years past, we will be offering runners the chance to run the full 26.2 as a competitive individual.  The individual race begins at 7am with teams starting at 8am. We request all individuals and teams finish by 1pm (6 hr cutoff). For those that may need longer, please email and we can setup earlier start time.  Teams of 5 are encouraged, but you may register a team with fewer than 5 runners. Divine Child is excited to welcome Falcons and the greater community to the 33rd Annual Mark Carpenter (Class of ’68) Falcon 5K Family Fun Run. This annual public running event takes place on Divine Child’s campus and features a Tot Trot for children ages 6 and under,          a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, and a 5K open to all ages. A Note from the Run White Lake 5k TeamWe’re excited to announce the 5th Annual Run White Lake 5K—happening Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 9 AM as part of the White Lake Area Maritime Festival! Come for the run and then join in on the fun at Mill Creek Days in Comstock Park.   The 2026 Mill Creek Days 5K/10K brings an exciting update to the course layout! This year, runners will start behind Vitale’s Sports Bar in Comstock Park, utilizing the White Pine Trail.  Runners will head north along this scenic, flat, and fast paved path. Runners will enjoy tree-lined stretches and views of Mill Creek, LMCU Ball Park and the Grand River, as they pass through quiet, shaded sections of the trail—perfect for finding your stride and setting a strong pace. The race will conclude with a finish in the beautiful Dwight Lydell Park, a beloved community hub with green space, cheering spectators, and the post-race celebration area. This course is ideal for both competitive runners and casual walkers—flat, scenic, and fully paved, with minimal road crossings and a welcoming, small-town race atmosphere. This is the 2nd Annual Adult Track Meet hosted by Run810: Running Club. After the success of last year’s meet, we’re back and raising the bar! This event is designed to bring adults of all fitness levels together for friendly competition, personal challenges, and community connection. Whether you’re chasing a PR, stepping onto the track for the first time in years, or simply showing up for the experience, this meet is for you! The following events are available for you to sign up. About Our Race The National Blueberry Festival 5k Run and Walk is proudly presented by We Care Community Resource Center and Naturipe Farms.  Proceeds from this event will support the National Blueberry Festival and We Care Community Resource Center.  The National Blueberry Festival 5k is designed with the racers in mind. We have configured the course to be as straight as possible while still offering scenic views of Lake Michigan, the Black River, and beautiful downtown South Haven.  We invite you to join us on Saturday, August 9th! The Mackinac Island Swim is a FUN and challenging event (not a race). Come join us for up to 8.2 miles of swimming in this clear blue water with some of the greatest backdrops Pure Michigan has to offer!!  Enjoy the finish line festivities following your swim.  All sales of merchandise, raffles and auctions held the weekend of the event go to support the 501(c)3 non-Profit The Mackinaw Woman's Club.  This year we hope to best our 2025 total of $30,000. Two packet pick-up options will be available before the event.  Both options will be in Mackinaw City, one on Friday night and the other on Saturday.  Specific times and locations will be announced closer to event day. Howell Recreation and presenting sponsor ChemTrend proudly present the 49th Annual Howell Melon Run (we welcome runners, walkers, and those racing in wheelchairs and other assistive devices) on August 14, 2026. Events begin at 6 PM in beautiful downtown Howell.
