Join us at 9am on Saturday, September 26th on the iconic Newstead 5K course, starting at the South Mountain Annex and running through the beautiful Newstead neighborhood!!!  Participants will receive a race T-shirt and collapsible cup (while supplies last). The Newstead 5K prides itself on being a family-friendly event. Strollers are welcome but no pets please.  There will also be two events exclusively for the kids. Shortly after the completion of the 5K, we will have a "Toddler Dash" on the lawn near the Annex perfect for kids ages 4 and under. Join us for the next leg of our Tour De South Jersey Series. This leg is another ride through  scenic bike ride through Southern New Jersey    The ride will start and end at Farmers & Bankers Brewing .   After the ride join us at the brewery for your complimentary beer and some post ride fun.  This will be a semi supported ride.  We will have a marked route with signs and arrows to direct you.  The route will also be available for you to download.  We will also have several aide stations on course.  Limited SAG support will also be available. RUN FOR DAD is the American Cancer Society’s premier  community event to raise funds and build awareness about prostate cancer.  Now in its 22nd year, RUN FOR DAD, is changing it's date! Usually taking place every Father’s Day, we have decided to move to September which is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Join us on September 26, 2026 as this event honors the memory of Frank Simms, event co-founder and all those who lost their battle with prostate cancer.    Over 1,000 people attend this family  fun event which consists of a 5K Run and 2-mile walk.  Small children are invited to take part in the Kids Run For Dad, a series of small races where they are all winners.  In 2023, approximately 228,800 men in the US were diagnosed with prostate cancer and over 27,500 died from the disease. The Palisades Half Marathon and Trail Run are back for 2026! Early Bird registration for the Palisades Half is now open. Both races will take place on Sunday, September 27th. Join for a stunning 13.1 mile paved run over 1200 ft of elevation along the Palisades ridge, or experience the rugged cliffs with a shorter mixed-terrain through the rocky cliff. Registration for the Trail Run will be opening in summer 2026 and finalized race routes for both events will be released within the coming months.    The Palisades Half and Trail run will take place in Fort Lee, NJ. ATHLETE GUIDE Hainesport Endurance Run!This event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. 10% of every entry will be donated to Hainesport Township*** MANY EVENTS: 12 Hour, 24 Hour,100 Mile, and 48 Hour + Relay Options! 100 Mile: 30-hour time limit. You must complete 80 loops (79.28 miles) by 9 am Sunday to be allowed to continue. This is a PAVED, flat, and fast loop at Hainesport Township Park in New Jersey. DETAILS FOR ALL EVENTSDirection: Runners run a counter-clockwise loop. Aid Station: There will be one fully stocked aid station set up near the loop start/finish area. The timed off road 5K course winds through a wooded trail and registrants have the option of either running or walking (map of 5K course). All race participants have the option to run/walk with their dog or cat in stroller. Dogs must be leashed.
