The race is part of the Michigan Running Foundation Mighty Mile series put on at several locations in Michigan in an effort to encourage our children to run and stay active. This race is located at Carman Ainsworth Middle School on Wednesday evening July 8th. The Miners Revenge takes you deep into the mountain and through the pits of ancient miners who spent their lives chasing the red metal. Some say the men who died still live in the mine protecting their claim, we can’t say that’s true but we can say that anything can happen when you are 300 feet below the surface and there’s nobody to hear you scream. Cross Country , DH, and Enduro Races! Be warned this is not your grandfather's XC race! Steep climbs, gnarly rock, rolling singletrack, fun descents, and riding with bats. The race takes place at the Adventure Mine in Greenland, MI. Part of the each lap is through the underground mine. Because of the total darkness, a GOOD light is required for the XC and Enduro Races. This is your chance to run West Michigan's favorite  25, 50, 100 and 200 mile relay, The FRED!!   The FRED Running Relays are a fun and challenging TEAM effort, where participants combine to run their chosen distance. You will form a team, plan out who is running which sections and on race weekend, will load up the vehicle and embark on the challenge! Our course runs on the FULLY PAVED White Pine Trail, right up and down the heart of beautiful Michigan, through the woods, the country side and around Lake Cadillac. The trail was once the Grand Rapids - Indian Railway, retired in 1985 and now operates as a 92 miles paved trail, stretching from Grand Rapids up to Cadillac.   25 Mile Relay is Saturday morning, from Sand Lake, Michigan, running south and ending at Third Nature Brewing.   50 Mile Relay is Saturday morning, from the Big Rapids White Pine Trailhead and progresses south, ending at Third Nature Brewing.   100 Mile Relay starts Friday night in Cadillac, where runners will w

We're back with The 2026 Cereal City Triathlon & Duathlon!  This is a sprint triathlon/duathlon that showcases the City of Battle Creek and its amenities. Willard Beach Park will be the site for this high quality multi sport event. There is a sprint distance triathlon and a sprint distance duathlon. Relay teams of all types are also encouraged to participate. Swim 500 meters, Bike 12.4 miles (20K), Run 3.1 miles (5K). Shelden's BIG Bang XC MTB Race

A traditional XC MTB race has returned to Stony Creek Metro park, and its Shelden Trails in Shelby Township, MI.  Mashing up exciting machine built single track, an old school climb trail, and classic two track, an 8.5 mile lap is on tap for racers.  Push hard and try to get that top step, beat your friends, or push yourself in your first mountain bike race on some of Southeast Michigan's favorite trails. After the half-mile hole shot and prelude from the start line, the 8.5 mile lap -- split 60/40 between single and two track -- features six unique single and two track sections per lap, perfect for testing your handling and having fun while offering wide-open, fast, safe areas to pass. Swim across the Straits of Mackinac alongside the beautiful Mackinac Bridge. This is a swim to benefit First Responders of Michigan. About 4.5 miles across as the swim starts in Mackinaw City and ends at Bridgeview Park in St.Ignace. Expect water temperature to be anywhere from 57 degrees to 70.
