Join us at Fenner Nature Center for a fun and active youth running camp designed to build healthy habits and a love for movement! Campers will learn proper running form while improving their speed, endurance, and overall fitness. Each session includes games, drills, and trail runs led by experienced coaches & counselors—all in a welcoming and nature-filled setting. Eligible campers are kids entering 2nd - 8th grade in the coming school year. The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old. The race is part of the Michigan Running Foundation Mighty Mile series put on at several locations in Michigan in an effort to encourage our children to run and stay active. This race is located at Carman Ainsworth Middle School on Wednesday evening July 8th. We hope to have a fun and challenging event for all the kids to get their summer off to a running and healthy start!   Calling all Elementary and Middle School students: Finish up your school year with a challenging and fun mile and get your Summer off to an active healthy start!   All runners will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and a chipped timed accurate mile. The Miners Revenge takes you deep into the mountain and through the pits of ancient miners who spent their lives chasing the red metal. Some say the men who died still live in the mine protecting their claim, we can’t say that’s true but we can say that anything can happen when you are 300 feet below the surface and there’s nobody to hear you scream. Cross Country , DH, and Enduro Races! Be warned this is not your grandfather's XC race! Steep climbs, gnarly rock, rolling singletrack, fun descents, and riding with bats. The race takes place at the Adventure Mine in Greenland, MI. Part of the each lap is through the underground mine. Because of the total darkness, a GOOD light is required for the XC and Enduro Races. This is your chance to run West Michigan's favorite  25, 50, 100 and 200 mile relay, The FRED!!   The FRED Running Relays are a fun and challenging TEAM effort, where participants combine to run their chosen distance. You will form a team, plan out who is running which sections and on race weekend, will load up the vehicle and embark on the challenge! Our course runs on the FULLY PAVED White Pine Trail, right up and down the heart of beautiful Michigan, through the woods, the country side and around Lake Cadillac. The Ride One Helluva Ride is Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society's signature event.  This event allows AABTS to advocate for cycling in not just our community but across Michigan. About the Race Register by June 6th, 2026 to be guaranteed a shirt. Sweaty Yeti is a premier 5k and Make a Memory Mile (1-Mile Fun Run) in honor of Christie Barber-Galvin and Kellie Barber. The course starts at Boswell Stadium and winds through nearby wooded trails. The Make a Memory Mile features obstacles and family fun. The 5K is professionally timed and all participants are welcome to join the Make a Memory Mile for no extra charge. All levels of runners and walkers are welcome!!! We're back with The 2026 Cereal City Triathlon & Duathlon!  This is a sprint triathlon/duathlon that showcases the City of Battle Creek and its amenities. Willard Beach Park will be the site for this high quality multi sport event. There is a sprint distance triathlon and a sprint distance duathlon. Relay teams of all types are also encouraged to participate. Swim 500 meters, Bike 12.4 miles (20K), Run 3.1 miles (5K). This is one of the best courses around for a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, or relay. This year the Cereal City Triathlon & Duathlon is offering both 2 and 3-person relays. Each team member will be able to register and pay individually as well, so no need to worry about who is footing the bill! A traditional XC MTB race has returned to Stony Creek Metro park, and its Shelden Trails in Shelby Township, MI.  Mashing up exciting machine built single track, an old school climb trail, and classic two track, an 8.5 mile lap is on tap for racers.  Push hard and try to get that top step, beat your friends, or push yourself in your first mountain bike race on some of Southeast Michigan's favorite trails. After the half-mile hole shot and prelude from the start line, the 8.5 mile lap -- split 60/40 between single and two track -- features six unique single and two track sections per lap, perfect for testing your handling and having fun while offering wide-open, fast, safe areas to pass. Steady climbs, flowing descents, and lots of fun and excitement await! All post race proceeds donated to the House of Promise (Lansing, MI) for human trafficking victim rehabilitation.

Swim across the Straits of Mackinac alongside the beautiful Mackinac Bridge. This is a swim to benefit First Responders of Michigan. About 4.5 miles across as the swim starts in Mackinaw City and ends at Bridgeview Park in St.Ignace. Expect water temperature to be anywhere from 57 degrees to 70. You will be REQUIRED to show proof of a 40/minute mile or less to qualify to swim by May 1,2026. Wetsuits and swim buoy required. This is not an officially timed event. You want your time, wear a Garmin watch and time yourself.

Join us for the seventh annual Lenawee 10K (and 5K), a fun and inclusive event for runners, joggers, and walkers. The race will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, starting and finishing at Riverside Park in Adrian, MI. The course will be a 2-mile loop through the west side of Adrian that will be repeated 3 times. The 5k course will be the same, but will cut short after lap 1.
