First Annual Bunny Run, Benefiting the Care Center Foundation  Hop into spring at the First Annual Bunny Run in West Chester, PA! Bob Friday was a long time teacher and coach at Henderson High School.  His teams won 2 state team championships in track and field and many individual state championships.  More importantly, he taught his athletes and students to show integrity throughout their lives.  The Warrior Invitational has been renamed the Bob Friday Invitational in his honor.  The meet will be help on April 10 at Henderson High School. Here is meet information. We are planning on awarding several scholarships in his honor.  Here is a scholarship letter.  You can also donate directly through this website. We will be running and walking around Charley's favorite park in East Goshen, Pennsylvania. Please join us on April 11th to celebrate the life of Charley, and the legacy her parents, Jackie and BJ & older brother, Logan have made in her name with the Charlotte Grace Fund.  Your participation in this event will be instrumental in allowing us to support the efforts of the HEADstrong Foundation and strengthen our commitment to families affected physically, emotionally and financially by a cancer diagnosis. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, brace

Join us for Zukin Realty's Running Home 5K! Bring the entire family for this fun event and enjoy a spring morning in the West Chester Borough! Running Home 5K seeks to raise community awareness and financial support for North Star of Chester County. North Star is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that seeks to help single working parents towards stability and financial independence.  Where: Race Start: Corner of Market and Church Streets Race Number Pick up: Friday 4/24 Noon - 6pm at the Zukin Realty Office - 121 E. Supporting vulnerable children and young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. 100% of funds raised from race participants and donors support Hopewell United Methodist Church’s New Life Rockstars (a Christian program for young adults with disabilities) and our sister ministry, Ma’s for Wellington in South Africa. Ma’s for Wellington serves preschool children and young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, providing meals, medical care, transportation, and a safe space to grow in self-worth and belonging. Your impact:    •    $10 nurtures one child for a full day of programming    •    $20 provides a month of transportation for one young adult    •    $50 provides medical care and four meals per week for a young adult We believe every person is uniquely created, deeply valued, and gifted for a purpose!

The Bournelyf 5k Run and 2k Walk is back in downtown West Chester.  Thank you to Bentley Systems for serving as our title sponsor again this year!  The race will take place on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at 6:30 PM. Check-in, T-shirt Pick-Up and Registration will be in the Nudy's Parking Lot starting at 5:00 PM.  Nudy's is located at the corner of Market and New Streets, right by the finish line and 2 blocks from the start line.   After the race, join us at Wrong Crowd Beer Company for the after party and some great prizes (including cash prizes!).  All 21+ runners/walkers will get a free beer or drink! I would like to welcome you to the 2026 Youth & Junior Nationals hosted at Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio. Youth & Juniors from around the country will battle head-to-head for National Championship bragging rights, and our goal is to create a memorable experience for all involved. The calm waters of Voice of America Park should provide some fast swim splits. The Age-Group, Draft Legal & Mixed Relay bike and run courses were designed to be fast paced and spectator friendly. All races will finish in the heart of Voice of America Park, and “spirit central” where Team Zones will be located.
