5k race to raise funds for Founders Park

This 5k is open for everyone to come together and support the Cameron Mahoney Vocational Scholarship.

Please join us on Halloween for a costumed trail run to support coastal conservation and restoration in the Gulf of Maine! The inaugural Trick or Trail 5K Trail Run at Wells Reserve at Laudholm will be held on October 31st, 2026. Located at 55 Skinner Mill Road in Wells, Maine, the Wells Reserve at Laudholm is home to over 2,200 acres of conserved meadows, woods, wetlands, and a wild beach-- making it one of the most beautiful backdrops for a run in all of Southern Maine! Net proceeds from this race will support the Reserve’s coastal research, education, and stewardship programs. Event Details: This is a trail run Race will be timed Costumes are encouraged but not required Water stations will be provided at the halfway mark and the finish line Medals will be awarded for overall top finishers, best in age group, and best costume! T-shirt included with registration until October 1st! Bibs can be picked up the day before, Friday, October 30th, between 1-4pm in the Visitor Center or Saturday, October 31st between 7:30- 8:45am.

The Wells Chamber of Commerce is hosting our 13th Annual Wells Veterans Day 5k.  Proceeds will once again benefit Honor Flight Maine.  Run (or walk) your own 5k (3.1 miles) on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The cost to enter is $20 (adults 18+), $15 (students 11-17) and kids (10 and under) are free (RunSignUp fees are extra).  As in past years, the first 100 paying registrants will receive a men's long-sleeve t-shirt. The details on the original race route are posted below (under directions).  The start and finish is the Trailblazer's Family Club located at 102 Bills Lane in Wells.  The 5K loop takes you through beautiful, remote back roads of Wells.  The course is considered flat, which is great for those either looking to set a new PR and/or for first-time 5K'ers.
