A race across Delmarva from The Cove to Assateague…. Runners complete the challenge in segments or as one Mega Segment! To EARN a TransDelmarva SHIRT - You MUST complete either the MEGA run or all NINE of the segment run… meaning you need to run across Delmarva in one of the two options we are presenting here.

SALISBURY, MARYLAND 8 is great!!! 8 years of running the RunSBY Events!  Come celebrate with us on Saturday, April 4th, 2026!  Join us in 2026 for a flat and FAST marathon and half marathon course!  Our BQ percentage is tremendous, so this could be your chance to qualify for a major!! Our Marathon and Half Marathon courses share the same course for the first 10.8 miles before splitting off to finish out their courses. All marathon runners can even use this point as a bail-out, if they like, to complete the half marathon.  Our courses have a 16 min/mile pace requirement, so our MARATHON must be completed in 7 hours and our HALF MARATHON must be completed in 3 1/2 hours.  Packet Pickup - THERE IS NO RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP!! The Salisbury Zoo's annual Zoo Stampede 5K, sponsored by Vernon Powell Shoes, is set for Saturday, May 2nd, at 9 a.m. The race kicks off from the Salisbury Zoo's East Gate (across from the Elks Golf Club). The race will go through the Zoo and along the Salisbury City Park's greenway.  The course is primarily along a crushed-stone path. This year's event is themed for the Monarch Butterfly in celebration of our involvement with the Monarch SAFE program (Saving Animals From Extinction). An educational community day celebrating our Monarch SAFE program with take place after the race. Let your imagination run wild and dress in your favorite animal costume! Runners with the most creative costume will receive a prize from our generous sponsors. 100% of proceeds go to support the Salisbury Zoo. DESCRIPTION: eRACE THE STIGMA's mission is to provide mental health awareness, support, and education as well as direct help to families in crisis or organizations that help families/individuals.  eRace the Stigma is partnering with the Wicomico Public Schools and The Wicomico Local Management Board to offer a 5k race during the 4th Annual Children's Mental Health Awareness Fair.   eRace the Stigma is a 501C3 and proceeds from the race go to individuals in need of treatment, and/or organizations who provide education/awareness/treatment for mental health, illness, and/or addiction.   LOCATION: James M. A 5k run/walk around the city of Salisbury's  beautiful park and zoo. Proceeds from the race will fund the Paramedic Foundation of Salisbury which will be purchasing several AED's to place around the county, funding educational scholarships for paramedic training, and many other worthwhile community projects for the residents of Salisbury and Wicomico County.

The Ben Layton 5K is organized to help raise money for Ben's Red Swings and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a blood cancer that Ben had. The 5k and fun walk start outside Ben's Red Swings, go through the zoo and end at Ben's Red Swings.  We are also continuing to offer a virtual option 5k this year for people who are not able to join us in person.   Custom designed socks are guaranteed to the first 150 entrants.   Raffle prizes will be awarded on race day. The race will be held rain or shine!

Please join the Lower Shore Autism Community with our 3rd Annual 5k race event! We are elated to host a day of support, fundraising, awareness, and acceptance for our Autism Community. We are so excited to see everyone on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 at the Salisbury Bible Fellowship! You have the option of the 5k competitive race or the 1 Mile Walk. For those who decide to register for the 1 Mile Walk, we are allowing strollers, and dogs that must remain on a leash at all times. Families can enjoy light foods and drinks that will be provided and there will be FREE prize giveaways won by your BIB number selected at random draw. Did we mention that PLAYA BOWLS WILL BE THERE?!?! Everyone will receive a T-Shirt with their registration if participants register before June 13th, 2026. After that date, they are no longer guaranteed, so register early! Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female finishers as well as age group awards!
