Walk With Us for Black Maternal Health Black Maternal Health Week begins with action — and on April 11th, we’re taking that action together. This 5K is more than a walk. It’s a celebration of community, movement, and collective commitment to ensuring Black women, birthing people, and their families are seen, heard, and supported before, during, and after pregnancy.  When you walk with us, you help expand access to culturally responsive care that improves birth outcomes and advances reproductive justice in our community. Our race brings together community members, outdoor enthusiasts, and river supporters to advance the Potomac Riverkeeper Network’s mission to protect the right to clean water for all. Proceeds benefit PRKN’s work to stop pollution, make drinking water safe, protect healthy river habitats, and enhance the use and enjoyment of the Potomac and Shenandoah watersheds. What makes this event special is its celebration of our shared connection to these rivers—uniting people who live, work, and recreate in the watershed to take action for clean water now and for future generations.

Designed to bring awareness to missing persons of color and benefit the Black & Missing Foundation, Inc., ‘Hope Without Boundaries’ is an inspiring, family-friendly 5K Run/Walk held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the National Harbor in Maryland. The racecourse takes runners and walkers along the beautiful waterfront of the Potomac River and across the Woodrow Wilson bridge for stunning scenic views. We welcome runners and walkers of all abilities and ages to bring your friends and family and join us on this day to Honor Our Missing.
