Join us for the 32nd Annual Martha's Vineyard 5K Memorial Road Race to support Hospice and Palliative Care of Martha's Vineyard! Sunday, May 24th, 2026 | Summercamp Hotel, Oak Bluffs | 10:00 AM Runners will follow a beautiful USATF certified course around Oak Bluffs harbor and East Chop Lighthouse. There is also a 1-mile kids’ fun run that starts in front of Summercamp Hotel. We will have an option for runners who will not be able to be on Island on race day to choose a virtual race that they can run on their own, from anywhere. Virtual runners can send in their times, but will not be eligible for place medals.  HPCMV is a vital resource for palliative, hospice, and bereavement care serving our entire community on Martha's Vineyard. Proceeds from the race allows Hospice & Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard (HPCMV) to continue providing expert-level end-of-life care for patients and their families, whether they be at home, in the hospital, or a long-term care facility;

Lace up for a scenic 5K with purpose! Join us for a lively and picturesque 5K road race winding through the charming streets of Oak Bluffs, circling the harbor and East Chop, with sweeping views of Vineyard Sound. It’s more than just a race—it’s a celebration of community, history, and hope. The day kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with a 1-mile Fun Run for kids 12 and under, starting from the Summercamp Hotel, just across from the Oak Bluffs harbor. At 9:30 a.m., the main event—the 5K Run/Walk—begins in scenic Ocean Park, in the heart of Oak Bluffs, guiding participants through a beautiful, USATF-certified course. Prizes will be awarded after the race at Summercamp. Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, with medals presented to winners in various age categories. This special event supports the Martha’s Vineyard chapter of the NAACP, founded in 1963—the Island’s oldest civil rights organization. Proceeds go directly to the NAACP Scholarship Fund, awarded to Martha’s Vineyard high school seniors who embody the spirit of civil rights, leadership, and good citizenship. 🎟 Register now to secure your spot! This is a registered and timed 5K race around East Chop in Oak Bluffs. Registrants can sign up to walk or run. 8:30 am 1 mile Fun Run $15 9:00 am 5K Run or Walk

Come join us on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard for a stunning full and half marathon. Both races promise gorgeous ocean views, the natural beauty of the center of the island, and all the charm the island has to offer. Both courses are flat and fast, with a couple rolling hills on the marathon course. The finish line for both races is in Oak Bluffs, at Waban Park.  In order to host a safe and enjoyable event in a fragile environment, this race will be capped at 500 runners total. As a USATF sanctioned event, all participants must be at least 16 years of age.  The marathon will start at 8:00 am Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School.
