It’s time to lace up and throw down: Fleet Feet Montclair vs. Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie—who will run or walk the most miles and claim ultimate glory? 🔥Welcome to Store Wars Sponsored by Asics, a free, friendly(ish) challenge to see which store’s squad can log the most miles during the month of March (3/1 - 3/31). It doesn’t matter if you run or walk—indoor and outdoor miles both count. (But not your daily steps added up 👀.)🎯 The goal: Crush miles, cheer on your teammates, and show the other store who’s boss.⚖️ The rules: Mileage logged must be completed during the Challenge dates (March 1 - March 31), can be indoors or outdoors, has to be intentional exercise (see above - not your daily steps added up), and needs to be entered as miles, not kilometers or steps (e.g., 4.2 miles, not 8,400 steps)!This isn’t just about miles—it’s about pride, community, and maybe a little trash talk along the way. 😉 S

Join Fleet Feet Montclair and Qawiya Collective, a local Muslim women’s run club, for a special community run celebrating Eid.   What’s Eid?Eid al-Fitr is a joyful holiday marking the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting from sunrise to sunset, reflection, gratitude, and connection within the Muslim community. Eid is all about coming together, sharing joy, and celebrating resilience and faith.   This run is built in that same spirit. We will be providing two mini buses with 14 seats to and from the Jersey City Half Marathon and Marathon departing from Fleet Feet Montclair (603 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair) between 5:00 and 5:15am. They will drop runners off near the start / finish area in Jersey City by 6:00am. Plan to arrive early so you have plenty of time to park and get to the buses no later than 5:10am. We will start checking people in and loading the buses at 5:00am so each bus can leave as soon as it is full.  For the return trip, we will let you know where the buses will be parked or where it will pick you up. We expect them to start leaving from Jersey City at 10:00am with each bus leaving as soon as it is full. This will limit the wait time for a bus whether you are running the marathon or half marathon and whether you are a fast or slow runner. 10K Grand Prix Run and 2-Mile Fun Run/WalkSunday, June 7, 2026, 8:00 am Registration Opens Monday, March 2nd Montclair Run is a 10K Grand Prix USATF Certified Course AND a family friendly 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk. The course is fast & flat and both races are chip timed. Free race photography is provided. Same day registration is available.  All participants receive a performance race T-shirt and finisher medal while supplies last. Awards given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers male/female overall and age category in 10K; Awards given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers male/female overall in 2 MI.

Lake Montclair is set in beautiful Northern Virginia with a great surrounding community supporting this event. Montclair residents enjoy the Lake front setting and the awesome Dolphin Beach where the triathlon starts and finishes. Montclair is conveniently located 25 minutes south of the Beltway, and just 40 minutes from our nation’s capitol. Montclair is bordered on the south by Prince William National Forest Park, which boasts camping and walking trails. It is also a 15 minute drive from Marine Corps Base Quantico. With two major airports within 40 miles and Potomac Mills Mall 5 miles outside our community, centrally located for shopping, dining, recreation and some of the best sightseeing in the area.

Please join us for a fun walk to support PAWS Montclair, or support someone who is walking. We'll be walking on Saturday September 19, or anytime around that date that is convenient for you. You can complete a 1-mile or longer walk on your own anywhere. You'll also be invited to meet-up with other walkers as an option. How it works: -Sign up for the walk. -When you sign up, you’ll get a personal fundraising page, which you can customize. You'll set a personal fundraising goal. We recommend a minimum goal of $200, but please don't hesitate to aim higher! You'll be surprised how many people will want to support a good cause, especially one that matters to you. Of course feel free to set whatever fundraising goal is appropriate for you. - From your personal fundraising page, you'll also have the option to create a Facebook fundraiser, which will be seamlessly integrated, so it doesn't matter whether someone clicks your link directly or donates through Facebook. -Please share your page with people in your network: family, friends, colleagues and others, and ask them to sponsor you. They can donate easily by credit card right on your personal fundraising page, or on Facebook. 100% of funds raised will go towards vetting, medical, and boarding expenses associated with the dogs and cats PAWS rescues. PAWS Montclair is a 501(c)3 charity dedicated to the rescue and adoption of at-risk dogs and cats pulled from the streets, high-kill shelters, and other urgent situations. PAWS focuses on animals who may get overlooked elsewhere, perhaps because of age, looks, health, breed, or size, which in turn can take more work and time to ready these deserving rescues for their forever homes. We’re bringing a little NYC Marathon energy to Montclair! Join us for a special NYC edition of our Thursday Night Group Run. We’ll head out for 3 miles, then come back to NYC-inspired treats and the first look at Next Stop: NYC, our limited-time NYC Marathon pop-up featuring a selection of the New Balance NYC Marathon Collection. Come dressed for the occasion: rep NYC, the Marathon, or another NYC race you’ve run and loved. Old race tees, finisher gear, singlets, hats, tourist tees, Knicks gear, anything goes. Training for a Half or Full? Or just need a solid long run? We’ve got you. Join us at Fleet Feet Montclair for a Supported Long Run presented by New Balance. Whether you’re building toward race day or simply stacking miles, we’re here to make your long run easier (and more fun). Choose from two clearly marked loop options (5 or 7 miles), each passing fully stocked aid stations with hydration, nutrition, and plenty of course-side encouragement. Pacers and volunteers will be out on route to keep you moving and motivated. Back at the store, connect with a Physical Therapist for quick consults on aches, pains, and recovery tips—plus guided stretching to help you bounce back strong. The Essex Running Club will be providing buses to the start of the New York City Marathon again this year departing from Fleet Feet Montclair (603 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair) at 5:30 am. This is a one way trip only and will take runners directly to the starting area at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island. Bagels, bananas and water will be provided on the buses and they will have a bathroom. We are not planning to have a bus back from the finish this year. Registration is only $25 for members of the Essex Running Club or $35 for non members. The $10 discount will be automatically taken at check out if you have a current membership in the club on Runsignup. Non members will have the option to join the club during registration and receive the $10 discount. Click here for more information about the club. Montclair's tastiest 5k will return on Sunday, December 6, 2026. Registration includes entry and official timing on our USATF certified course on the streets of Montclair. All registered runners, walkers, and kids race participants will receive a pom pom beanie, commemorative medal, a Montclair Bread tote bag & special treats in a collectable Montclair Bread branded mason jar at the finish line. A portion of race proceeds also go to support our 2025 race beneficiary The Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair.
