4th Annual Sail to the Finish 2M Run

Middlebury, CT
The race is to benefit the Quassapaug Sailing Center, a nonprofit organization designed to provide sailing instruction and encourage and promote good fellowship between persons actively interested in sailing and water sports. Sails to trails summer camp is operated every summer to encourage sailing and outdoor activities for children. Scholarships are offered for children in need.  Race is an out and back road course starting at the Quassapaug Sailing Center. First mile is downhill, then you run back up the hill (no complaining- it’s not that steep!). No Dogs allowed!  Parking is limited- carpooling is encouraged. Race entries will be limited due to space limitations (likely that the race will sell out- sign up early!).  Awards: Overall Male and female finishers & top three in age groups 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70 & up.   Race day is international Harry Potter day - come with your best costume and try to win an award.

Pat Griskus Olympic, Du, Sprint Triathlon

Welcome! I’m your Race Director, Tom Wilkas. We are pleased to bring you both the original Pat Griskus Sprint Triathlon, which started in 1987, and the Olympic distance race, which was conceived in 2002. Since then, we have also added a duathlon and a second sprint triathlon run concurrently with the Olympic triathlon. Key folks include: Dave Heller, Robin Griskus, Laura Griskus, Marty Cashin, Mike Maximenko, Dave Kunces, Kim Tessier, Jeff Sheldon, Tom Hill, Jim O’Rourke, Chris Hibbs, Sandra Heller, Kristin Heller, Meghan Curley, Tim Cipriano, Tim Ruh, Karen Mcwhirt, Rob Scott, Eric Pattison and Others. Pat Griskus was an amazing guy and credited with paving the way for the many amputee athletes to follow. Both races are USAT Sanctioned and are held at Quassy Amusement Park on Route 64 in Middlebury, CT. Middlebury Summer Festival 5k and 1 mile

Register through EVENTLINK https://websites.eventlink.com/s/northridge-middle-school-raiders/Registrations     On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Middlebury Summer Festival 5k and 1 mile race will be taking place as part of Middlebury's Annual Summer Festival celebration. Proceeds from the race will support Northridge Middle and High School Cross Country programs.  The event will feature two races designed for runners of all ages and experience levels. We will kick things off at 8:00 a.m. with the 1 Mile kids run and competitive 1 mile for 13 and older runners. The race will begin on State Street in Middlebury, by East Park. At 8:30 am, the 5K begins. Immediately following the race, prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women overall, and the top 3 winners in each age division.  Both races will be electronically timed by Watt's my timing.  NO REFUNDS! Shirts will be unisex. ACORN's Tour de Farms

Middlebury, VT
Join us for our second Tour de Farms in and around Middlebury, this year with a family-friendly route! Enjoy panoramic views and beautiful back roads as you visit local farms in Middlebury, Weybridge, Cornwall, and Salisbury, Vermont. This scenic ride features several relaxed farm stops with multiple food producers who will offer you a taste of all the Champlain Valley has to offer! All samples are included in the ride, but cash is handy in case you'd like to purchase products along the way. Don't worry about carrying all of your goodies on the bike; we'll have a farm van to pick up your purchases and deliver them to the finish for you!  Much of the course is along dirt and/or gravel roads, so grab your gravel grinder or your mountain bike. If you've got a road bike, consider putting wider tires on it for this ride. It'll be worth it! E-bikes are welcome and encouraged as a comfortable option. Many Vermont libraries offer free E-bike rentals, and our local bike shop

TAM Trek

The TAM Trek is a trail race and fun run to raise money for the Trail Around Middlebury (TAM) in Middlebury, VT. This trail is a19-mile long footpath, encircling the village of Middlebury and linking several hundred acres of town land, conserved properties, schools, and other local landmarks. All distances start and finish at Wright Park in Middlebury, Vermont. The 19 mile race course travels the entire TAM through the towns of Middlebury, Cornwall, New Haven, and Weybridge, VT. The trail is scenic, rolling, and includes incredible views of the Green Mountains to the east and the Adirondacks to the west.  19-mile race departs at 7:30 AM. The 10K course is entirely on single-track trail through Wright Park and the Otter Creek Gorge Loop (trail maps available at www.maltvt.org), with around 400 feet of elevation gain and several fairly technical sections.  10k race departs at 9 AM.
