Mackenzie Corbin Memorial 5k Our daughter, Mackenzie Corbin was a 2023 honors graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School, a Sophomore at Wilmington College, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greenfield.   As the baby of our family and the youngest of six girls, Mackenzie was God’s blessing that completed our family perfectly.  Mackenzie was a beautiful young woman with a smile that could light up any room, a contagious laugh, was humble, kind, loving, and had a passion to always help others.  Mackenzie loved big and touched many lives in her nineteen years and is loved and missed by her family and friends so very much. Mutts & Mayhem

The Greenfield Recreation Department is excited for Mutts and Mayhem, an approximately 1.5 mile canine and companion obstacle course race! The race will feature fun and exciting challenges for both people and their furry friends and will leave spectators shouting “Oh My Dog”! The event will be held at the Green River Swim Area on Sunday, May 17th beginning at 11:00am and will feature timed racing, local dog oriented vendors, prizes, and all around fun! Work your tail off with your dog as you traverse the river, jump over barriers, and go through hoops to compete for the quickest time.  REGISTRATION SMALL DOG (UP TO 40 LBS) (Small Dog = up to 40 lbs) Conquer 20 obstacle stations along an approximate 1.5 mile course route with your leashed dog! 42nd Annual Greenfield Triathlon

The Greenfield Triathlon is the longest running triathlon in New England! Situated in the heart of Franklin County, the Greenfield Triathlon course meanders through the picturesque back roads of Greenfield, passes through the Historic Eunice Williams Covered Bridge, and features swimming in our very own Green River. Offering both International and Sprint distances for individual athletes as well as two- and three-person teams, the Greenfield Triathlon is great for both beginners and seasoned triathletes. A triathlon training program is offered Sundays leading up to the event. In Greenfield, our motto is “To Finish Is To Win!” All race proceeds benefit the Greenfield Recreation Department. The Greenfield Triathlon has raised thousands of dollars to support programs and events for families within our community. We thank you for your continued support.

2026 Sprint for Spina Bifida

Join us for the 33rd annual SPRINT FOR SPINA BIFIDA to honor and celebrate the 500+ Wisconsin residents with spina bifida that we serve.   Our event includes the fun walk / roll on either a short or long route (you choose), fantastic raffle prizes, our 50/50 raffle, live entertainment from "Acoustic Blu", refreshments and enjoying the park's playground. Hancock Flat 50

The Hancock Flat 50 is a community bicycle RIDE taking place on August 29, 2026 starting in Greenfield, IN and taking your through scenic Hancock County. There will be 50- and 25-mile routes, all of which are open to cyclists of every skill level. This is a bike RIDE, not a bike race!  Please use caution throughout the course, especially areas of congestion. After the ride stay and enjoy our festival! Funds raised from the Hancock Flat 50 go to support the  Hancock County Trails Master Plan, bikeway signage to increase awareness and improve safety for riders, and initiatives to encourage bike riding for all ages. .
