Starting inside of Chukchansi Park, you will be put to the challenge of climbing every step from the bottom to the top of the stadium, followed by a run up a 6-story circular garage and then down an adjacent 6-story circular garage, proceeded by a half-mile run down Fulton Street to the Tuolumne Overpass (Urban Hill), before the final challenge, climbing 220 stairs to the top of a 10-story building, The Grand Tower, where your timing sensor will stop your clock!Overall length of the Urban Run is approx 3 Miles.  All donations support The Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation! This dual-purpose event aims to both advocate for child safety and foster care, raising awareness of the need to support the well-being of families, caregivers, and foster youth. The Greater Madera Kiwanis Club presents the 22nd annual Mother’s Day Run on  Sunday May 12th at Woodward Park, Fresno Ca. We added a 5k run to our traditional 10k run and 2 mile run/walk along with the kids dash which is less than a 1/4 mile. Adult registration will earn you a coveted Mother’s Day run shirt. Youth pricing does not include a shirt, but can be added for an additional $5.  Complete an event to earn a finishers medal. Place in the top three of your age group, get an age group award. The Juneteenth Freedom 5K/5 Mile Run is an event that goes beyond just a race. Juneteenth commemorates the day when 250,000 slaves in Texas, which became the last bastion for slavery during the final days of the Civil War, were declared free. All participants in the live and virtual race will receive a tech shirt and medal. The live 5K/5 Mile race will have placement awards.
